The location of the lodge is difficult to find. But it is close to the higher/lower fall sightseeing. The cabin is quiet and spacious. No microwave and refrigerator as no cooking in all the accommodations in the park. I doubt that several cabins share one water heater because the hot water only supported one person, others had to wait for...

My husband and I, along with our daughter, son-in-law, and three children (10, 8, 4) stayed in the Cabins at Canyon Lodge. The accommodations were great: comfortable beds, hot showers, plenty of room and warm bedding. We stayed three nights and were able to see much of the Park including Bison herds (bulls in rut and cows and calves), Elk...

This was our second lodging at Yellowstone. I wouldn't stay here again. There is nothing special about this place. A typical hotel. I wouldn't say this place was great because of the amount of tourists that visit during the day. It is overrun with people. There are also 3 lodges together and none of them have views. You are better...

New lodge, with state of art facilities what you would expect inside the park. We had to book well in advance. Booked early to fit to our budget. The hotel is right in the center of park and closer to the most beautiful part of the park , the Yellowstone canyon and the falls. Walk-able to trails leading to the...

We stayed 2 nights in Moran Lodge and could not have been more pleased! From the moment you walk in to a smell of wood, to the entrance to the spacious room, to the comfortable sleep at night, it is a treat. We requested and were given a room facing the forest, so it was quiet. The windows open much...

For a simple woodsy park like feel hotel room with a a good shower this is a great choice. We were pleasantly surprised at the cabin's nice touches like a wooden table and chairs coffee maker and loaded soap and shampoo dispensers. Everything inside seemed recently updated and the parking was just outside of the cabins. The temperature even in...

Stayed here one night in the new Dunraven lodge building. The building is only a year old so the room is modern-sized and spacious with a full size bathroom. Other lodge buildings are still under construction so the area is a bit of a mess but the free shuttle service makes it easy to get back and forth to the...

Beautiful Lodge and location was perfect. The parking was a bit difficult but we had been warned of it. We had two different rooms both of which had extremely loud refrigerators ( I could hear the neighboring room refrigerator turn on and off thru the wall) , I found out that if you the visit the park right you will...

A family land cruise out west. Our 4 night stay in Yellowstone was in Canyon Village in the new lodges was wonderful. But the reason stating two lodges is because we had reservations together but we were in separate buildings with the same number. The lodges are brand new- rooms are comfortable and spacious and environmentally friendly (recycling in rooms)....

You're definitely paying for the location, but on the other hand the facility is great. Here's a quick synopsis: * Good location inside the park. Very close to Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. However, our location (Chittenden Lodge), was a bit removed from the other dining and shopping options at Canyon area. * Great infrastructure; brand new building with modern fixtures...
