Really like the cabins and the rustic style of them. this is a good alternative to the hotel if you can't/don't want to stay in the campground. Rooms were spacious for this kind of cabin with excellent beds. All the cabin was clean. The restrooms and showers are located outside but always close to the cabins and are kept clean...

This was the smallest room we stayed in during our week long trip in Wyoming. The location worked for us. The best part were the animals roaming outside. There are some fun hikes nearby. Would recommend for 1 or 2 night stay max.

We've stayed in the cabins and in the hotel. If I had a choice again I'd just stay in the cabins. The hotel was nice, but the cabins are a larger and easy to navigate. It's also nice watching the Elk on your front porch in the morning and evenings. Great location. In the hotel I didn't have a bathroom,...

We stayed here as part of a tour of Yellowstone. Was it 5 star, no, but it was what we needed. The picture posted is the view from our room. The room was comfortable enough and the breakfast was good w/ options. Breakfast was the only meal we ate @ the hotel during out 2 night stay. We didn't 5...

We really enjoyed our stay here. There were tons of moose in the area as we drove in, which thrilled the kids. We could literally see moose feeding while laying in our hotel bed and looking out the window. The food offerings in the area is not great so I would just recommend bringing some groceries with you. The lobby...

We stayed here one day on our bus tour of Yellow Stone. The setting for this hotel was more beautiful than I expected. The hotel itself was old but well cared for. The rooms were comfortable with high ceilings. Be prepared for no tv or wi-if. There is entertainment in a ball room with a piano player and beautiful views...

We loved our cabin! Quiet, clean and relaxing, the cabins are located behind the main hotel on narrow streets that form little "blocks". Front doors face a central green area perfect for talking with your neighbors. Porches have chairs and it is very relaxing. Our cabin was attached to another, but there are single cabins as well. Quick and convenient...

Beautiful setting, right at the edge of the Mammoth Springs area. Plenty of things to see, places to hike and a resident elk herd. "Touchdown", the bull elk and his harem serenade travelers with their bugling. The hotel is very clean and staff is friendly. We didn't even miss having a television in our room.

We visited here after being in the cabins at Lake Yellowstone and we were very happy with Mammoth cabins. They were more appealing inside and out and had a seating area outside. Not very big, no coffee making facilities but shower and heating worked well. To be inside the park and to be able to watch the Elk grazing was...

We'd previously stayed at Yellowstone Lake which is much more isolated, but Mammoth hotel & cabins are just a few miles inside the park boundaries, by the main north road into the park with also several admin buildings around, so it feels much less in the wilds. There is a resident herd of elk on the lawns around the property....
