I can't imagine anyone complaining about the location of this hotel. We did not expect much and therefore we were not disappointed. The hotel is old and a little ragged around the edges but clean. After a long day hiking and checking out the sights all we wanted was a meal and a good bed and we got both. The...

I do not like camping, and I was a little skeptical about this place based on pictures. Well, I couldn't believe how nice it was! It does look pretty scary from the outside (in other words, it looks like an old cabin - which is scary to me :) ), but it was so cute (bear-shaped soap, bedspreads with a...

We stayed in the hotel two nights the last week of Sept. 2011. It was very convenient for our daily trips through the park. We had limited choices in YNP since most hotels/inns had closed the week prior. The restaurant was a bit pricey but the grill offered more casual choices. The hotel was clean and nice lobby and gift...

We stayed at Mammoth Springs Hotel the first week of September, 2011, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a first floor room with a private bath with a view of the lawn which was frequented by Elk throughout our stay. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The lobby was a very comfortable and inviting area to relax and...

We had a 3rd floor room with the parade grounds view (to see the elk). Of course they were nowhere to be seen the first 2 rainy days. Then they showed up, day and night. The males were calling( a high pitched bleat which can be very annoying for light sleepers) to gather the females and there were Park Rangers...

Stayed in the cabins. Having no toilet facilities was a pain. It is ok for a quick stay no more. Restaurant in Mammoth was very poor. If going again I would cross 5miles over the border to Gardner in Montana where you have plenty of choice for food and accomodation

My husband and I recently visited Yellowstone National Park and chose this hotel as one of the places that we wanted to stay. I originally had us booked in a hotel room/no bath. But after reading the reviews online about the hall bathrooms in the hotel, I decided when we checked in to ask if there were any cabins available...

We expected something old and dated. The facility is new and just perfect. Spacious rooms and bath with every possible need accounted for. The location was ideal---centrally located in the park making it easy to see all areas in two days if that is all the time you have in this beautiful part of the USA. There were multiple options...

We stayed one night in the Canyon Lodge - Hotel Room (listed on reservation confirmation as 'high end room' - website was 'standard hotel room'.) Note this was NOT one of the cabins, which are a different thing altogether. The room was a very pleasant surprise. The Canyon Lodge is relatively small - in a good sense - room faced...

Canyon Lodge was the second place we stayed during our visit to Yellowstone National Park. We stayed here for 3 nights in September 2011 in Weston Style Cabins. We found the rooms large, spacious and clean with 2 Double Beds, our own bathroom, a coffee maker and hairdryer but no other luxuries such as TV or fridge. This was fine...
