We loved our cabin! Quiet, clean and relaxing, the cabins are located behind the main hotel on narrow streets that form little "blocks". Front doors face a central green area perfect for talking with your neighbors. Porches have chairs and it is very relaxing. Our cabin was attached to another, but there are single cabins as well. Quick and convenient...

Beautiful setting, right at the edge of the Mammoth Springs area. Plenty of things to see, places to hike and a resident elk herd. "Touchdown", the bull elk and his harem serenade travelers with their bugling. The hotel is very clean and staff is friendly. We didn't even miss having a television in our room.

We visited here after being in the cabins at Lake Yellowstone and we were very happy with Mammoth cabins. They were more appealing inside and out and had a seating area outside. Not very big, no coffee making facilities but shower and heating worked well. To be inside the park and to be able to watch the Elk grazing was...

We'd previously stayed at Yellowstone Lake which is much more isolated, but Mammoth hotel & cabins are just a few miles inside the park boundaries, by the main north road into the park with also several admin buildings around, so it feels much less in the wilds. There is a resident herd of elk on the lawns around the property....

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was fine, Nice big room decent shower and clean. Check in staff ok not over friendly or helpful. We stayed on the ground floor and only heard little noise from above Loads of deer on property which was nice. Close to a decent store about a 10min walk away which sold bear spray....

We were late bookIng a trip to Yellowstone and could only get a Frontier Cabin at Mammoth Hot Springs (north entrance to Yellowstone) but what a lucky accident. Our Cabin B29 was so cute ad cozy and wonderful! It was sooo clean (bathroom fan and baseboards are my test!), terrific decor, parking right along side, looking onto a lovely green,...

We had two comfortable queens sized beds. Rooms size was larger than I expected. Nice working bathroom with bathrooms across the hall too. The halls are extremely large and the spiral staircase was nice. Front staff was very helpful. Our room looked over the square where a male herd was tending to his herd. It was wonderful to just sit...

We stay in one of the cabins with no phone, no TV, no wifi etc but a herd of friendly elks around us. It's as close as you can get to nature. For those who could afford to be disconnected from the rest of the world, it's good experience to tell your boss 'Can't call me, I'll call you a...

Even though we stayed four nights at the end of the season (1st week of October), the only double accommodations we were able to get in the park was in the Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel because we did not book until mid-July. Moreover, the only available rooms did not have a shower or toilet en suite. It would not have...

We stayed two nights and had a two-queen bed upper floor room, which was larger than we'd expected, and faced the side parking and dining room. We were pleasantly surprised that it seemed to have newer bedding and comfortable though firm mattresses and was mostly clean, though we were disappointed to find pink mould on the shower curtain. Yuck. The...
