Stayed in Dunraven Lodge witch is in the Canyon village area of Yellowstone. We had a first floor room facing the back witch is wooded. I was sitting by the window expecting the chance of seeing an elk but to my suprise a bison came walking by 2 feet from the window stopped and looked right at me. Anyway the...

Staying in any of the new lodges in the Canyon section of Yellowstone is an excellent choice, It is a great location, and the lodges are all brand new. They are set up to be eco friendly with a neat way of saving electricity and also recycling!! Would highly recommend staying here.

Location, location, location, but no real views from the hotel. The hotel room does not have AC, but it cooled off at night with the windows open and a fan. No TV, but that is not the reason we were here. Internet was available for a fee. Small refrigerator in the room. Parking near the hotel can be difficult

So here's the deal... we all want to stay in the park. It's fun and convenient. Here's the problem, there is no need for any level of customer service or quality of the hotel. I wouldn't pay $60 for this room anywhere else in the country, but you have no other option. The room has no A/C, TV or clock...

Disappointing stay at the Dunraven Lodge on June 28th and June 29th, 2016. Human bodily fluids from some previous guest found on blanket. Called desk upon waking the second morning having inadvertently brushed hand over the dried crusty remains on the blanket under bedspread when waking up. Described situation to person at the remote Lodge registration desk (no admin staff...

We stayed four nights in June 2016 while visiting Yellowstone. We also stayed here in 2010 and my memory of Dunraven was that it was drab and a bit dreary, but I'm glad to say that my memory was wrong. The room was large, had windows that opened to a view of some woods, had a fridge, and a sink...

We had booked our room almost a year in advance and requested a room on the top floor facing the forest, which we got (5th floor, room 403). There was plenty of construction out front for the building of the new lodges, but we could not hear it in our room. The new lodges should be completed soon (Moran Lodge...

Except that some rustic touches just can't be reproduced efficiently with modern techniques. The end result is a very modern hotel room with rustic touches like lodgepole bed frames. On wheels. This should not be a problem to most. It only troubles me because we understand most of the very utilitarian simple and affordable 1957 lodge cabins have been removed...

The lodge was too far from the cafeteria, had no lobby, no views, pretty uncomfortable beds and hard to get to through all the noisy construction. I know that is temporary but I made my reservations a year in advance trying my best to understand the layout of available food service. In that year the new lodges became available and...

Basic room, though charmingly furnished and had a great bed. Facility is generally clean and quiet. Central location to see that side of the park. No amenities for the high price. They did not keep creamer and sugar for coffee for the second day, and we had to go to the Canyon Village office to get them. We left a...
