We were in a "lakeside cabin", somewhat misnamed as there was no lakeside view. Comfortable but very tired. Hairdryer not working and this was replaced after request at main hotel reception. No housekeeping on days 2 and 3 despite requests. Reception polite and helpful but there shouldn't have been a need to complain in the first place. Be aware that...

My visit was in the summer months in one of the on site cabins. The views from the room were just forests, which was nice as it meant no buildings infringed on the natural landscape of the park too much. The soaps in the bathroom were carved to look like animals yet the bathroom was kind of old fashioned and...

Lovely building and obviously the location is outstanding. Rooms are nice too. Though for the price paid I would expect a little more luxury, and breakfast to be included. I guess they are able to charge so much due to demand. We visited a couple of the other Yellowstone NP hotels and liked the lake hotel the best.

grand and ritzy and old people-ish. I'm a little old people-ish. Now, we just stayed for the day and it IS a very pretty hotel and it's peaceful and popular with lake people. The boats weren't running just yet when we were there or we would have rented a boat. The restaurant and cafe were nice and the little store...

We stayed here for 1 night in May 2016. We stayed in a small cabin behind the main hotel. The room was ok for what it was. The main hotel itself was great, we had a nice dinner and even better breakfast there. If possible, next time we may try to book a room in the hotel itself. Would recommend...

Before I got married I worked as a resort chef at lodges just outside of the park so know Yellowstone very well. Therefore my family and I always spend at least four or five days in Yellowstone as there are so many sites to visit. This hotel serves as our base of operations. We always get a room in the...

My husband and I stayed here for a couple nights this past Sept. 2016. This historical hotel has been renovated and looks great. Our room was well appointed, comfortable, but we wouldn't stay there again. Why- the price is over the top for the stay, even in Yellowstone. It is a huge place - dining and lobby area included. Very...

Old Faithful Inn has it's Geyser & Lake Yellowstone Hotel has it's Lake. Yes if you can't get it right try-try again. And that's what we exactly did. Our first time was in 1981 and the second time was in August of ((1994 not 2016)). If you read the 1st review of Yellowstone you will remember that we were disappointed...

We stayed here for four nights and used it as a base for exploring the Park. The lodges are very comfortable and warm but have no TV or internet, the beds were made every day and the room cleaned. We ate in the cafeteria every breakfast and evening meal bar one when we decided to eat in the Hotel which...

Yellowstone is situated in a gorgeous, remote location. Never did I expect a luxury hotel to stand among it in the middle of nowhere. We accessed Yellowstone through the Cody, WY East entrance. The drive in was phenomenal and we didn't even get to the entrance gate yet! The Yellowstone Lake Hotel is not too far a ride from the...
