Okay, it is pricey, but you're worth it. It is a marvelous facility that has just been renovated and for being 125 years old she's a grand old dame! We were here for only one night and were so thankful we could experience this wonderful location on the lake. The other two nights were at Old Faithful Inn. We wish...

We loved this hotel. There is a grace about it, a history, a style of elegant days long past. Our room was comfortable with a lake view, the bathroom updated, we were happy. But it's not just the room itself. The generous lobby, wide corridors, remarkable staff, outstanding dining, lovely setting and ideal location make this a perfect base for...

My wife and I stayed here for three enjoyable nights in early October. The hotel was not inexpensive, but it has no rival in Yellowstone given its ambience, comforts and quiet lakeshore location. We read in other reviews that the creaky ceilings were an issue for some. The solution is to stay on the fourth floor with no one above...

This is a "bucket list" hotel property well worth booking in advance . . . like a year! They just completed a $30-$40 million dollar renovation and it shows. I took my cousin for one night as he had never stayed at the property. We booked the only room available, a suite, and split the cost. It was pricey ($600...

We booked a one night stay with an excellent rate, considering we were in the centre of Yellowstone Park. Check in was smooth and with a little difficulty, we found our cabin. It was clean and warmed up after a few minutes. HOWEVER, I took off my shoes and my feet were wet. The carpet was wet in some places...

Nice little cabin located in east Yellowstone, very clean but overpriced. We went at the end of September and the only places open for dinner was the deli & dining room, located in the main hotel (short drive away on the same property). I made my reservations for this cabin on TripAdvisor, 4 months before traveling. The dining room will...

The cabins attached to the Lake hotel are quite basic - no TV, no wifi but then you are in the middle of a National Park! Strangely the hotel has no wifi either and you have to go to the business centre to access it. The cabins do have heating including in the shower which is small. Main problem is...

This place is in the heart of Yellowstone, looking out onto the lake and the mountains beyond, you can walk to the shore of the lake and there are animals about. In the morning it's just a few minutes drive up the Lamar valley for spectacular sunrises over the Yellowstone river, and you can hear wolves howling, and then go...

This was a very expensive hotel stay. And we were placed in one of the cabins, it was cute, it was clean, we were warm and it was better than camping and sleeping in the ground but it was expensive. The staff was not interested in helping anyone, they were like the Bison that we found right outside our cabin...

Ok let get this out first, we had a room on the fourth floor and it's a close resemblance to the movie "THE SHINNING". I would have been ok with that but the two twin girls dressed alike at the end of the hallway kept me on edge. Aside from that the hotel was great, architecture, restaurant, and the staff...
