We stayed one night in a standard lodge room in the 2-story inn within close walking to the main Lake Hotel (check-in desk, restaurant, etc.). It was all they had available, but fine for us. Clean and spacious. Upon check out, they actually decreased our...More
Stayed in the wooden cabins in the grounds of the Lake Yellowstone Hotel. Coffee making equipment provided . Unusual in that wash basin is in room rather than in separate bathroom. Mesh screens on all windows , excellent in warm weather . Should provide umbrella...More

Yellowstone is breathtaking! We stayed at Yellowstone Lodge in a king room with a lake view. Bed was comfy with newly refurbished bathroom with plenty of counter and storage space. Traveling in August you should be aware their is no air conditioning. If you can push your trip to September the crowds start to thin. As with all NPS lodging if you are patient you will not have any complaints. Yellowstone is America's beauty at it's best!
