Great place inside the park, and a real warm welcome from Karen and her two daughters. We were treated like friends rather than guests. The girls were very helpful. It is located about 11 miles from the valley and 13 miles from the nearest restaurant, which is a bit of a distance on the twisitng roads, but the scenery more...

We wanted to stay in the park rather than outside and travel in everyday and this looked perfect and it was, Karen and her 2 daughters are brilliant hosts providing first class advice for hikes and places to visit, quickly sizing up what you really want from your trip and bespoking the advice to meet your needs.Highlights included sitting on...

Everything about this B&B was great. Karen and her daughters are wonderful, knowledgeable, and polite hostesses. The location of the house was perfect -- it's arguably the most central location of the whole park. It worked well for my wife and I to hit different parts of the park on three different days. Karen knows her stuff -- hikes, lakes,...

The location is hard to beat -- about 5 minutes from Glacier Point. Our arrival was a bit of a screw-up -- you are supposed to call before you arrive and they give you the code to go in, but our phone did not work in the park! It took a long time to rouse someone so they would let...

The Yosemite West High Sierra Bed and Breakfast will always hold a special place in my heart. Not only for the amazing views, and delicious breakfasts, but this is where my fiance proposed! He and I stayed at here in May and Karen helped to make it the most memorable trip. She allowed for my fiance to ship a banner...

Hotel has stunning views, very comforting interior design (with a destinct western style), clean rooms. When we stayed other guests were very quiet, but there is a nice common area to enjoy. The owner is nice, helpful with the hikes - away from the crowds- and prepares great breakfasts. It is a very quiet, uniquely private area of the park.We...

My wife and I spent three wonderful nights at West High Sierra and our decision couldn't have been better. The location is inside the park, so it certainly is convenient. It also beats the large crowds in the valley. Karen was our hostess, and she sent us off every morning with a wonderful breakfast and a game plan for the...

Great place to stay if you want to get away from the hustle and busitle of the Valley - and beleive me you do! We went to Yosemite in April (so early!) and it was already very busy in places like Curry Village so being honest I would not like to go in the peak tourist season. This B&B is...

This is a good place to stay away from all the tourism traffic. The B&B is situated high up and you get a beautiful view. Rooms are clean and breakfast is quite good. Karen has all the guide books and knows the trails. We feel lucky to have stayed here, because you get a feeling of peace rather than the...
