If you're on the cheap and want still want the convencience of staying inside the park then this is the place to go. They are permanant tents which are pretty basic but a little dusty. There are 3 single beds and a heater. They have power but no restroom. Restrooms are in the blocks up near the main area. They...

We had an incredible 3 nights in one of the pre-setup tents in Curry Village (aka Half Dome Village). You can access some of Yosemite's best hikes from the campground either by regular shuttle buses or if you want to extend your hike, by foot to the trailhead. We did the mirror lake trail, mist trail and hike's to the...

We were very weary of staying in a “tent”. However, the tent was clean, warm (make sure to get a tent with a heater), and easy access to the bathroom/showers. We specifically asked for a tent close to the parking lot and bathroom/showers. We had a lot of stuff and it was much easier to carry everything from close to...

I was very sceptical about staying in one of half dome village's heated tents at the beginning of November, however, when it came down to it the tent was all we needed at the end of a day of hard walking. It didn't even leak when we had torrential rain for a day! Yes the tent is bare, all you...

We live in Southern California and were scheduled to take our trip to Yosemite with visiting family and were unable to make the drive due to extreme weather and road closures. I have tried to reschedule our trip or even get a partial refund but was told no. Very disappointing. We realize that the reservation was no cancellation within a...

Location is brilliant. Tents are basic as described. They are very close together which means you can't really enjoy sitting outside your tent in the evening as there are people everywhere. When we were there the toilet and shower area for our area were not clean and one toilet was blocked and overflowing at night. It was still that way...

Nice place but the toilets were far from the tents. It will be okay if you come here when the weather is not too cold. Good for summer activities specially when you have kid. We can hear people chatting even late at night.

This was full when we planned out trip, but we did drive through and check it out. The tent cabins are close, kind of like in a tight trailer park. However, they were clean and it seemed like an adventure to visit. I was able to look inside of one, taking the custodial staff by surprise. I understand there are...

Loved the great view and cozy, casual atmosphere of Half Dome Village: spectacular scenes of Half Dome and surrounding cliffs, rugged wooden cabins and antique stone structures next to plentiful white tents, warm front office and dining areas (where wifi worked well too) - all within walking distance. Our 3 night stay at the historic Stoneman House (were given an...

Half Dome Village is a great spot for many different levels of campers. We stayed in a heated tent and man, that heater was worth the extra few dollars. The arrangements are basic but they have what you need. Not somewhere to stay easily if you don’t want to explore, but with most people having travelled from all over the...
