Curry Village was clean and comfortable with close proximity to lots of hiking trails and readily available shuttles to many destinations in the park. If you are used to secluded/quiet tent camping, this is not your place. However, it is very convenient and all of the staff are very competent and friendly. Highly recommended for people who are traveling and...

My husband and I stayed here for about a week in July. We left somewhat disappointed, and wishing we'd stayed elsewhere. We booked through YosemiteParks.com, which just gives a brief overview of the accommodations, and not the full details, which can be found on the Curry Village site. We realized it was tent-like camping, but assumed it would be a...

This is an absolutely beautiful location!!! We stayed in the tent cabins. There were only a couple of downsides to staying in the tent cabins; the food bins and the lack of air conditioning. The tents have window flaps to allow the air to flow through the tents. During our stay temperatures were 103+. HOT!!! Curry Village offers a lot...

Of course, Yosmite is AMAZINGLY Beautiful and we were in awe most of the time. Neither of us knew what to expect as it was our first time. We were pretty exhausted after traveling all day and driving 8 hours from Vegas and the check-in was ridiculously long and frustrating. The cabins were very barbaric for the price, the beds...

We stayed in the tent village. If you've seen the show M.A.S.H. then you get the idea what it was like. Rows upon rows of tents. They were small rooms containing a large cot and metal shelves. You make your own bed. The website said something about semi-private bathrooms but we have no idea what they meant. The bathroom and...

Staying in the tents was a fun and comfortable experience, made it easy for travellers to not carry proper camping equipment. Spring was a comfortable time to go, amazing views and atmosphere. Yes the village can be busy but it was a weekend and everyone was good natured. A family friendly environment.

We had originally planned to camp in Yosemite but when we looked for sites all that was available in Yosemite were canvas tent cabins in Curry Village, located in the heart of Yosemite Valley. They seemed pricey but we didn't want to skip the park and so we booked one for two nights over the July Fourth weekend. Our 'tent'...

We stayed in one of the tents in Curry Village. Check in took almost an hr with a very long line. The yurt was ok, but the bed frames needed some help. The mattresses were good but being the frames needed some help you could feel that you didn't lay properly. The shower and bathrooms are small but did the...

The main thing you should know is that this place is a massive hub in the middle of the valley from where you can travel "to" the wonders of Yosemite. At curry village itself although you are right in the valley you don't feel close to nature at all. It took us 45 minutes to check in because sooooo many...

Nice cabins, beds a bit small and roll out mattress a bit uncomfy but over all value and time with kids awesome. The wildlife comes alive on the back porch with all the different birds. Bring your binoculars - a must.
