We stayed at the beautiful Cable Mountain Lodge (Canyon View Suite) April 3-6 - It was simply incredible! Check-In was seamless - property grounds are beautiful - room was spacious and awesome - and the view - the view from anywhere on the property including our balcony was breathtaking - we loved going to sit by the river in the evenings - we easily walked to the local Springdale eateries - (loved Whiptail) -Zion and Cable Mountain Lodge was the highlight of our trip!

The Cable Mountain Lodge was a GEM. The convenience of this location, coupled with the amazingly comfortable beds and accommodations, was remarkable. Our family stayed in a Hillside Suite that overlooked the parking lot and mountains - really the lot was not even noticeable. You are surrounded by beauty. We did not use the pool but people were (late - March) it must have been heated. The bathroom is huge and had a fancy toilet that my kids loved. The attention to detail and the friendliness were top-notch on our road trip from Phoenix - Jackson Hole.

What a marvelous location. Everything was great. The towels were so good I took a photo to try and find some for my house! Every detail was perfect for our family vacation. We stayed in a room with two queens and a sofa bed. Worked perfectly for my two teens. The front desk staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about both Zion and other local parks. Can’t wait to come back.

After extensive research of the best hotels near Zion, I chose Cable Mountain Lodge to celebrate my husband's birthday. The location was breathtaking!!! I knew when we pulled into the parking lot that I made the right choice. We arrived earlier than expected around 11:00am. The staff was extremely kind and pleasant and had a room available to check us in right away which was awesome since we drove from California. We stayed in a Canyon Loft Residence which had "exceptional" views of the canyon. We loved our room so much that we booked an additional night. The grounds of the hotel were immaculate. Our room was rustic, beautiful, very clean, fully stocked and cozy with a nice warm fireplace. The deck was incredible and the view was so gorgeous it felt unreal. There is a market, coffee shop, gift store, The Canyon View Pub, and Zion Outfitters in the same parking lot with a brief walk to the Zion National Park entrance. The Virgin River runs behind the hotel. My husband was extremely happy. I would give 6 stars if I could. We will not stay anywhere else but here when we return to Zion.

We came in February, so the prices were very reasonable. We booked directly on their website, but then called a week later to add one more night. The representative we spoke to, Dave, was friendly and took the time to find us the best rate for our 4 night stay. We arrived close to 5AM to check-in and even at that hour, the receptionist welcomed us with a warm smile and patiently explained the amenities. We stayed in a Canyon View suite and the location couldn't be better; from inside the room and on the patio, we had an amazing view of the Watchman. Other perks of staying at Cable Mountain: 1. The proximity to Zion, 3 minute walk to pedestrian entrance, no need to stress about parking 2. Exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated (Canyon View suites are in the newer building) 3. Stove top, full size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, cooking utensils, everything you need to prepare your own meals 4. Discounts at the walking distance restaurant, Brew Pub, the gift shop and grocery store 5. Picnic tables along the Virgin River for hotel guest and they allow campfires are certain areas. We got our to-go order from Brew Pub and lit a campfire to keep us warm as we enjoyed a night picnic, afterwards we roasted s'mores This is the best hotel I've ever booked and we've stayed in places with higher rates or considered "luxury" hotels, but nothing compares to Cable Mountain Lodge. The location, the service, and excellent hotel maintenance, is what makes this place so special.
