We paid over $400 for 2 nights in a sub par and dirty room. If you are looking for an updated and clean room, this is NOT the place for you. They claim on their site "While continuing our high standards of cleanliness, we have elevated our cleaning protocols to meet the latest guidelines, including increased cleaning and heightened sanitation of guest rooms using a cleaner that addresses a broad spectrum of viruses (including coronavirus)" this is NOT TRUE!! I forgot my wipes in the car so used a wet tissues to surface clean. After just doing the headboards I had to stop although there were other issues. I went to the front office and the ladies were apologetic and called the manager. Tyler Smith the Director and son of the owners came. I explained and showed him the dirty tissue and told him I want the room cleaned and done while we went to eat. He NEVER apologized for the state of the room or anything. All he said was what time can he come in and clean. He could care less about his customers. I had to tell them that under the coffee maker it was dirty, the tissue box cover was full of dust, etc. He just looked at me and never said a word. I purposely left the crumbs by the microwave that was there from prior guests as a test to see if the entire room would be cleaned. When we got back the microwave was still grimy and crumbs still there. Even the styrofoam cup had a stain on it! It was never replaced. We never got an apology from him, change of room or any compensation. Worst service and hotel we have stayed at in our entire trip. I will definitely do another review on my phone where I can share pictures of the dirty microwave, cup, shower curtain and old mirror frame. We also had to keep our socks on because we couldn't trust that the carpet had been vacuumed or clean. We have stayed at 4 other hotels before this one on our trip and I was disgusted!!!

Thank you for your review of our property and supporting our family owned business. We typically receive high marks in other reviews for the cleanliness of our rooms and I apologize that was not your experience. We would have been happy to move you to another room or waive your cancellation fee, had you wanted to go somewhere else, if we had known it continued to be a concern during your two nights with us. We truly value our customers and their experiences, which is why our small family business has been here for 49 years. We will be sure to share your feedback with our staff and review it on how we can handle situations better in the future. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

We loved our stay at Bumbleberry Inn. It was a great location and has excellent views of Zion. It was right by a shuttle stop but since we had an early Zion shuttle passes, we just drove into the Visitor Center The room was basic but spacious and comfortable. The one thing I would mention was there is no phone in the room - which is not a big deal. Most people have cell phones. However, we were checking out early (before 7) due to our early shuttle tickets. And when you call the number on the website, there is no option to reach the front desk or an operator. And the lobby was locked. Since I had not thought to ask about check out the day before, I wasn't sure what we needed to do. It all worked out because after our quick breakfast at Oscar's, someone was there and checked us out. All in all, though, a fabulous place to stay when at Zion!

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because of the lack of elevators. We had a couple of elder ladies in our group who had difficulty carrying their bags up the stairs. Other than that, this was a SUPER cute place, very clean, appears to be well cared for. Loved the 2nd FL balconies. On a side note, the room TVs are a bit too small to see from the beds because the room is such a good size. :)

To be honest, the hotels location and proximity to the entrance of Zion National Park is unbeatable. The hotel is about a 1.5 mile walk to the visitors center and it’s relatively flat. The Inn is at Stop 5 on the free town shuttle bus which is about midpoint to the park but the bus is always full by the time it gets to Stop 5– I recommend leaving the car at the hotel and walking up. As for the hotel, while we were visiting Zion for the outdoor experiences, there were some things about the hotel that could be improved. The rooms are not very soundproofed so we heard every step the guests above us took, and every door that slammed shut in our building. There were a few places I wish more detail was taken, ie. ice bucket was dirty, decorative sheet over the covers/sheets had dirty spots in places. Also, the TV was super shotty and did not cooperate with us. Overall a great spot to crash if you don’t need the frills like some other hotels in the area.

Thank you for your review of our property and supporting our family owned business. That is a great tip that, depending on the time of day, the limited seats on the Springdale shuttle due to COVID can impact how quickly visitors are able to board. With only being 1 mile from the park entrance, it is an easy walk and might even be faster if there is a large crowd waiting at the shuttle stop. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your overall stay, including the unbeatable location. We appreciate hearing the areas where you feel we can improve and will share your feedback with our housekeeping staff. We hope to see you again, should you visit Zion and the Springdale area in the future.

Loved the location, convenient to the Springdale shuttle to Zion Park. Rooms were large and clean. We loved the hot breakfast that was included with stay. It was at a cafe across the street and was great quality and very filling before a day of hiking. All of the staff were helpful and polite! Would stay again!
