My wife & I stayed at the Pioneer Lodge for two nights in May 16. We wanted somewhere at reasonable cost but in Springdale itself so that we could have easy access to the park shuttle buses, restaurants & shops in the vicinity. The Pioneer Lodge ticked all these boxes & we were happy enough with what we got for...

Big room, comfortable bed, nice design, very good location, close to park entry, enough car park spaces. Only a coffee maker at the reception could be open a little bit earlier. I strictly recommend the hotel.

Nice, quiet and the room was clean enough for my girlfriend! We had all we needed(Microwave,fridge,..) It was easy to find. Not far away from the entrance to Zion Nationalpark. I would sleep there again.

The hotel needs serious work. The hotel lobby never has the advertised service. The restaurant says permanently closed. The heater for the room is under the window. It fine for the best closest to it but not the room. It would not stay on all night. The blinds in the window would not close. At least the curtains helped. I...

The lodge is located near the entrance (less than 1 mile) to Zion national park with several restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are cozy, but clean and we enjoyed the two nights that we spent here

We have stayed here almost every year for the past 20 plus years. They updated the rooms years ago and I still love the décor! They are affordable rooms and include all the amenities! The attached restaurant--that's another story. The food and service are under par--but we don't come for the restaurant. The staff is friendly and take care of...

Sad. We have been going to the Pioneer for over ten years and loving it and the people in and around the Lodge. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owners one weekend, Brett Maru and wife. Not sure if they are the current owners, being the way we were treated on Feb 11th 2017. We have always overlooked...

I chose this place because it was one of the lowest cost options in town, so I wasn't expecting much. But I was pleasantly surprised. It was clean, and very conveniently located. There are newer properties around so you can get nicer accommodations if you want, but the Pioneer Lodge is definitely an acceptable option if you don't want to...

We stayed at this hotel in January while visiting Zion National Park. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was extremely comfortable and was the best bed we slept on during our three week trip. There was also a small kitchenette in our room to make tea/coffee. The hotel is in a great location to visit Zion National Park...

This hotel is perfectly located a very short drive to Zion National Park. It has amazing balcony views of the park. The room has a lodge look and feel about it and is comfortable and spacious with room for a small table and chairs. Modern tv, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, free wifi all included. Shower is fairly average, took a...
