Our expectations were high, but the resort far exceeds all of them. The location is perfect, being situated in an island paradise, with palms, sandy pathways, and thatched bungalows looking out at the pacific. Totally surrounded with healthy, unspoiled reefs; the diving is to rate. The staff take care of all the details of the dive, with extras: hot, wet...

From the time you landed to the time you leave everything is looked after for you. We spend 5 nights on their live-a-board doing 4 dives a day. The staff, Shelly and Steve are all fantastic and the food was great. The rooms felt like you were in a small hotel room not on a boat. Then we spend 6...

I must begin by saying that I had extraordinarily high expectations for the diving at Wakatobi. I've dived all over the Indo-Pacific and run into a fair number of experienced divers who raved about diving here. The corals are great. When I was there there were only a couple of days with strong currents. But there is little more than...

My fiancé and I visited Wakatobi in July this year. It was very exciting to journey to such a remote location, but well worth it. The resort itself is quite small which gives it an intimate feeling, but the staff are what makes it special….and the diving of course! The service and food are outstanding and we were very well...

Second visit to Wakatobi even better than the first one. The perfect diving holiday, far away from the hustle of everyday life. Very helpful staff, super friendly and patient with the kids, great dive team, very good food, stunning sunset . What else ?

Wakatobi, by far, was one of the best vacations I've had in a long time. It was top notch all the way. The Staff was very friendly from the get go, leaning our names and there to help anytime, anyway. They are wonderful. I stayed in an Ocean Front Buree, it was so nice, at low tide I could walk...

Nothing I can write here or any of the reviewers have written before me will prepare you for the Wakatobi experience. Unlike any dive resort we have been to, Wakatobi significantly sets the standards higher. The team and management at Wakatobi Dive Resort anticipated every diver's need, and put in every effort to make sure that that need was met...

First visit was fantastic - out of this world diving. Food was top quality and villa number 3 was good. We stayed 3 weeks and it was that "trip of a lifetime" - very expensive. We went back again the following year - again for three weeks, two on the island and one on the liveaboard. Week 1 - all...
