We were excited to try MOOF's cafe when visiting Nanyuki. We were the only customers for lunch that day. There were three staff working. The vegetable sandwiches were extremely disappointing, considering the draw is that is it's an organic FARM that grows vegetables: an onion roll with cucumbers, tomatoes, and sweet and sour sauce. Yes, sweet and sour sauce. Worse,...

We only spend one night at Moof Africa, but we wish we could have stayed there longer. Great staff, food and atmosphere. The tents with beds were comfortable, and all in all a really good experience. The owners have so many ideas and the place is really growing, so we would love to be back and see how far they...

On the road from Nairobi to Moyale, this is a very nice spot to pitch the tent. Clean toilets and shower. Relaxing area with tables on the shadow to cook or charge the computer or cameras. They also have a nice restaurant with organic food from their own farm. Really nice attention from the reception to the restaurant. 100% recommended.

The first time I went to this place, they had nothing but the juices available and I was a tad disappointed so I left for a place called Kongoni and had lunch there instead. Sunday is a day when they should be most prepared to receive guests yet they had no food ready! Seriously?! I don tire. Anyhow, the second...

MOOF provides a little sanctuary of peace and tranquility. The staff and very helpful and kind, and I even had tours out to see some of the other organic farmers MOOF supports. The ethos of the organisation is fantastic: to train and support organic farming within the region. Contrasting greatly with many of the large commercial farms nearby. They are...

I had a wonderful evening pitching my tent on this Nanyuki farm before heading up Mt. Kenya. The staff were absolutely fantastic: they were friendly and helpful, and showed me around the farm id-ing all the birds and plants I asked about. The campsite is quiet and comfortable, with clean, shared bathrooms. Campers use outdoor camping showers, for which they...
