A good experience starts with the people working there and Sweetwater has the friendliest, most helpful and attentive staff one could hope to find! The game drives are wonderful because there is such an abundance of animals here. Last night five elephants of varying sizes entertained us when they came to drink at the water hole, right outside the dining...

We went to Sweetwaters for a one night break last weekend. It started off on a wrong footing when the person manning the conservancy entrance asked us for a few hundred dollars as entrance fees, when we had been told the entrance for a little over 1,000 Kenya Shillings for citizens. I have no idea on what basis he had...

We left Nairobi at 8am on a Saturday morning . We drove leisurely through the road that inspired Elspeth Huxley to write the book " Flame trees of Thika" passing by several small towns thoroughly enjoying the scenery. Three and a half hours later after passing through the equator we arrived at Sweetwaters Serena Camp. One things we didn't know...

This was our first stop on our Africn adventure and it was an amazing start!! Our rooms were right by the watering hole where all of the animals come to drink day and night. The rooms are nice, the food is great and of course, the animals are spectacular!

You won't go wrong staying at this place. Location is inside the Ol Pejeta conservancy, home to the only 3 Northern White Rhinos left in the world. The camp and tents are well situated, extremely clean and have the best view. You can sit in front of the tents and view the animals rehydrating at the pond. The food was...

A very nicely built and designed tented camp in the sanctuary. Visited for out 25th wedding anniversary and every effort was put into making it a memorable anniversary. Great and plentiful wildlife as well. The only downside is the high cost and charges for any and every extra service provided.

We travelled with our toddlers on 10-11 December. The tented camp exceeded all of our expectations, the tent is very comfortable, with a big bed and separate beds were provided for the children. During the evening they brought us hot water bottles to keep us warm throughout the chilly night. The variety of the food is excellent. We saw many...

We visited Sweetwaters tented camp between 10 & 11 dec. It is one of the best properties I have visited in Africa and I have visited a lot! It has the unique concept of having tented camps all around. Lovely tents with no key - Just a zip! And a beautiful view of the wildlife with a watering hole bang...
