If you go at night please take a map of this place with you to show your driver it's a little unknown so it took some time to find it. It's about a 10 minute walk off the main drag and the street to get to it is quite dark but very safe. When we woke up we were glad... More

Quite peaceful location. Will need tuk tuk as, a fair walk from center of town. 2 mins on scooter. Just down the road from Jamee guesthouse and out the front of the entrance of Tham Chang or Jang cave. Photo add to help tuk tuk driver. Very friendly and helpful owner. We changed accommodation to this place very happy here.... More

We only stayed here for 2 days but we had a great stay. The owner was very friendly and accommodating and made us a delicious breakfast. We missed our first booked night as our bus didn't stop off in vang vieng and he knocked on our door with a free breakfast sandwich which was a lovely surprise and kind gesture.... More

Beautiful setting but poor cleanliness/staff. Rubbish still in the bin and the floor had clearly not been swept. Nice looking bungalows and very spacious rooms. Staff were a bit weird and spoke no English simply pointing us to our room on arrival. Fairly average stay.

Even if the rooms are separated by thin walls and we could hear the noisy drunk couple next door, we kind of enjoyed the place. It is a 15 minute walk from the center but we enjoyed walking from there. The owner is not that strange and is very relaxed and friendly. I do not suggest to eat there since... More

Overall an average stay, not really worth the asking price. Pros: Area is quiet and has lovely view of mountains. Beds are very comfy (best 2 nights sleep in Laos). Spacious room. Cons: Same issues as others (holes in walls, lots of ants, lizard poo on walls, expensive/average breakfast) which normally doesn't bother us. However, One thing that really bugged... More

Enjoyed our stay here, in the quite part of Vang Vieng. Owner is a little bit strange. I did not care much but sometimes it can get kind of awkward. Did not prevent us from staying longer. Extended from 3 to 6 nights. Mostly because we loved Vang Vieng. The "bungalows" are comfy. Good A-C, poor WiFi. Loved the balcony... More

Got to Vang Vieng around 8:30pm. Crawling depressedly to the hostel in a long and rocky and dark road (the last turn to Diamond Villa has no light AT ALL). Asked the manager if we could cancel the reservation but being refused. So we kept the plan: stay there in 2 nights. The receptionist can't speak English meanwhile the manager... More

Not sure why everyone raves about the service here. As we checked in, nobody even asked or helped with our luggage. The manager simply pointed to us the way to our rooms. Same as we checked out, not even offered to call us a tuk tuk to get us to the bus station, so we left to our 20 minute... More

If you don't mind a 20 minute walk to the centre, this is a good option in VV. Quiet and safe. Rooms are spacious and clean, room service on request. Breakfast, drinks and tours are overpriced, you can get better options in VV centre. WiFi does not work in the rooms at the far end of the reception. The ladies... More
