We paid around THB 1,650 and was happy with the bedroom condition and the great view from our balcony. (Breakfast by the river included.) Only feeling let-downed when entered the toilet area. It was very tired and, for the worst part, very smelly. Minor problem when we checked in, we asked to get the highest floor possible, and been assigned...

As people have said, please please please do yourself a favour and make sure you ask for a 5th floor room. We chose to squish two single/twin beds together and it was the best decision we made. This place is right on the river and the view is simply breathtaking from bed and from the balcony outside the room. Spend...

Stayed at the Elephant Crossing in December 2013. The hotel is right on the river. Our room had a great view but was a tad on the small size...the staff were friendly but as with most things in this part of Asia cleanliness was not up to western standards. However, i would have no problems returning as our stay was...

The hotel fronts the river and offers great views of the mountains you come to this town to see. Meals are served in the restaurant on the property that fronts the river. These are the highlights of the hotel. What you don't hear about is the noise from moterboats zipping up and down the river and the rooms were awful....

First, there are no elephants here, but it's a great name for a hotel. Tip - you need a room on the top floor facing the river. Otherwise you will get no view or face another building. We paid US$50, which is probably fully priced. There ar many newer hotels being built and we suspect you can do better. While...

This hotel is situated in the most perfect spot with amazing views of the river in Vang Vieng. It is close by to everything and the hotel bar and restaurant is an ideal spot to sit and watch the sunset.

Right by the river with a beautiful restaurant terasse, I would definitely recommend this hotel. Staff is really helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good. The hotel is located on a main quiet street really close from all the restaurants. Would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Located right on the river you can eat breakfast with the mountains in the background and have a drink in the evening as the sun goes down over the water. Our room had a balcony with fantastic views and the staff were friendly and helpful, able to organise day trips for us...

This hotel is quite basic but makes up for that with it's great location on the river. The restaurant/ Breakfast area has wonderful views over the river to the mountains. This hotel supports the local community, providing employment and supporting education for the local people who work at the hotel. It was wonderful to sit and have breakfast looking at...

We didn't stay here, but the staff seemed quite happy to serve a couple of 'drop ins' for happy hour cocktails and a curry on the terrace. We had a very enjoyable experience and from this perspective alone the serenity and peaceful early evening river scene with the silhouetted towering cliffs above would be hard to beat.
