Yoma Cherry Lodge is a small boutique hotel with 15 bedrooms. Set in a beautiful garden amidst palm trees, on Kiplings Bay, Ngapali, the hotel is situated on a a beautiful beach. Each morning, guests can watch the fishing boats come in with their catch of the day, and in the evening you can watch the boats sailing out to sea, whilst sipping a cocktail and watching the sunset. The beach is very quiet and there is only one other hotel located on the beach. The sea is crystal clear and wonderful to swim or snorkel. The hotel has a restaurant overlooking the beach where you can eat fresh seafood, local Myanmar food or it also has some western dishes. Our massage pavilion is a great place to totally relax. Our staff are friendly and efficient and the whole Yoma Cherry team wish you a wonderful holiday here.

Expertly run hotel.

The hotel is attractive and set on a beach . We had a first floor garden room and it was large with a balcony. The staff were excellent and food very good. The hotel is set back from the beach and either one sees the local fishing fleet unloading in front of the hotel as a local colour plus or an encumbrance meaning one has to walk along the beach to get an unencumbered swim. Similarly the ground level rooms facing the beach are either refreshingly close to the beach or constantly subject to passing guests and potentially noisy. Lovely hotel and we were glad we picked the room we did. My wife seemed to have non-stop manicures,pedicures and massages all of which she rated excellent and very reasonably priced.

Thank you so very much for your review which we appreciate. Glad you were happy with your room. We in fact get very many repeat guests who come time and time again, and some always book the beach view rooms whilst others the garden view rooms, depending on people's preference. Most of the time throughout the season the fishermen go out to sea in the late afternoon and arrive back in the early mornings and the rest of the day is just the guests. Happy to hear you enjoyed the food, service, massages etc. as we always try our best. Once again thank you.

Great Place

Loved staying here excellent accommodation and location very peaceful .We spent last few days in Ngapali it’s a great place to get away from the main crowd .The staff are very helpful and make you feel at home

Fantastic place to stay and eat!

The hotel is set in a stunning location and has incredible views of the sea from the restaurant and sitting areas. The sunsets are incredible! The food is amazing with a wide range of dishes to chose from and delicious wines! The service is warm and professional from the local staff and over seen by the wonderful manager Sue. Can't rate this place and the people highly enough. 10 stars!!

Stunning!

We absolutely loved our six nights at Yoma Cherry Lodge - from the moment we were picked up at the airport to when we were dropped off. The hotel is spotlessly clean, has beautifully maintained grounds and right on a gorgeous beach. This is a beach hotel which has an air of elegance yet is casual and very comfortable. Our garden room was lovely. Large, comfortably furnished with a good size bathroom and terrace. You could wish for nothing more. All meals are served on a fab terrace overlooking the sea. Lunches were good with a wide menu of western and eastern dishes. The food was very good quality and reasonably priced. We had happy hour cocktails everyday - watching the sunset. There are other beach restaurants very nearby that offer a very good alternative. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. It's a busy local beach and it's fascinating to watch the locals go about their work. You do not get bothered by hawkers. When I booked I was a little concerned there was no pool and whether there were local restaurants to walk to. Nothing to worry about - the beach is wonderful and local beach restaurants are close by. The staff are exceptional - very good English, helpful, can do, friendly and professional. This is a brilliantly managed hotel and they're well trained. Yoma Lodge is a fabulous place to stay, but what makes it especially good is that it is run with integrity. We will definitely be back. Thank you everybody at Yoma Lodge for such a wonderful stay.…

Definitely OUR Paradise

After travelling around Asia for nearly 4 weeks we are now back home and discussing all the places we have visited, the one that we keep going back to talk about is Yoma Cherry Lodge! We had a beachfront room and it was fantastic, spotlessly clean, couldn’t fault it. The staff who work there are a credit to the management, they were so polite, always smiling and the waiters ready for a laugh which was really easy because their English is so good. We ate in the restaurant a few times, food was good but its easy enough to walk on the beach to other eating places On a final note......we loved it that much we’ve booked to go back!

The hotel website says beachfront rooms are single storey and lagoon view rooms are two storey but several reviews refer to upper storey sea view /beachfront. Can anyone clarify please. Thanks

Thank you for your enquiry. The beach pavillion has only ground floor rooms, but the garden pavillion has ground floor and first floor bedrooms.

1. What types of sports equipment is available at Yoma Cherry Lodge? 2. What is the cost to rent the e bikes? 3. Are there 4 e bikes? 4. Are there kayaks to rent? Thank you

They don't have much in the way of sports equipment except golf equipment. There is a bike rental shop right outside reception though. I would ask hotel directly about kayaking --I have never seen anyone kayaking in Ngapali. Staff are very helpful, trustworthy and knowledgeable about what's on offer.

I do apologise for my late response. I do not know why the sand was being taken, but I am happy to tell you that it is now stopped.

Hello, what is the nearest international airport (how many km)?

Il y a un aéroport tout à côté de l'hôtel (quelques km) et une navette entre l'hôtel et l'aéroport (Thandwe Airport). Mais cet aéroport ne doit pas être un aéroport international. Les aéroports internationaux sont Mandalay et Rangoon.
