Rude staff

The people in Myanmar are so friendly and kind, but the staff at this resort are the rudest we’ve come across in a month here. Really disappointed, especially since it’s so quiet in Ngapali at the moment.

Tired in need of refurbishment

We had a villa on the beach, m a superb position and loads of colonial style space which at first sight looked worth the money. However closer inspection revealed that it was in need of a substantial amount of work both maintenance and cleaning. To be fair three of the maintenance team and three cleaners came for three hours and did what they could but it shouldn't have been necessary and the place really needs a total refit. The evening food was good, breakfast could have been better.

Tropical heaven

Oh what a fantastic hotel we stayed for 6 days and it was amazing you can not fault the hotel the staff are so attentive nothing is too much one waitress cho mee in particular was so kind she gave us so much valuable information on the area and her English was excellent the hotel is so lucky to have her. The hotel room was lovely big and spacious the bathroom was large with a separate bath and shower and the view from our balcony was perfect a view of the ocean and you lay on the bed and hear the waves rolling in, there was a evening turn down service where the water bottles were refilled every night plus as much tea/coffee if could want for and complimentary snacks crisps and different cakes every evening.there was plenty of sun beds on the beach to use and the beach was clean also a complimentary afternoon beverage was provided.breakfast was delicious every nation was catered for and plenty of room to sit and no noise.i would highly recommend this hotel.the reception staff (Sandra)were very friendly and kept us informed on our flights and when to leave for the airport with the free shuttle service…

Perfect Location for a beach holiday

This hotel is on a quite large sandy beach with direct open access from the hotel and private beds with sun shades on the beach belonging to the hotel. If the budget stretches to it the 2 story villas are perfect, situated directly on the beach in a quite location. The interior of the rooms are starting to show there age and could do with some up dating. Breakfast buffet is extensive and ok, but the evening meals are not up to standard and far better quality and much cheaper are available just outside the property, or a taxi ride into main village. Reception staff speak limited English considering how many of their clients are European and communication can sometimes be difficult, but they are helpful when you have managed to explain what you want.

Hello. Does anyone know if any of the room types have baths? Is the pool fresh water and any idea how big it is? Thanks

Believe the pool was fresh water and my room definitely had a bath and shower. Think it was a deluxe double with sea view but think the layouts looked pretty similar. I suspect they all have a bath

Yes, the rooms do have baths. The pool is not very large, but is beautiful and overlooks the beach. Not too many people swam in it when I was there.

My husband and I will be staying here the end of February after our tour. We will be in a Deluxe sea view room. How many rooms are there to a block? Can you request upstairs or downstairs on arrival? If so which ones are best? I think I would prefer an upper room away from potential creepy crawlies.

We had also a Deluxe Sea View room, upper floor, which is located in second line. I would always recommend the upper floor, and I would chose again the second row, because in the first row the beach is very close and too many people pass by. In one "house", there are 4-6 appartments. Enjoy your stay. Don't forget free afternoon tea and the happy hour!

Is there any grocery shops around hotel? Any restaurants? We planing to stay 11 nights but not sure if there will be anything to do outside hotel? Thank you.

Yeh.. There is a couple of restaurants nearby.. One is Ocean Pearl and the other one is called Sea Queen. Also there is a grocery shop right next to Sea Queen restaurant. Both restaurants are like 7 mins walk away from Hotel. Hope my answer is helpful enough for u.

I am thinking of booking a five night stay with you and have seen some people say they received a free dinner and 2 x massage. Can you confirm this would be included should I book? Thank you

Hi, Last time we stayed the policy was a free dinner for 2 and a free massage but can't remember if it was 2 free massages for a 5 night stay.
