I enjoyed my stay here. The room left a bit to be desired in that it was old and showing its age. However, the ambience of the entire hotel is what makes it and it would be very difficult to not enjoy your stay here. You are right on the water and it has a nice bar and restaurant. Breakfast,...

I rented a third floor suite and I was impressed with the place as soon as I began my walk up the stairs to my room. Although not a new or overly stylish hotel, it is very clean with the wood furnishings and stairs well maintained and the artwork on the art on the walls very tasteful. Although the room...

Maasin is one of my favorite places in Southern Leyte. Been here many times. We stayed in Villa Romana for a night for a business trip. Our primary consideration is the parking space which is very spacious and can accommodate up to 7 cars, I guess. The location is really good - along the national road and with a really...

We have been traveling to Maasin for 7 years now, and we always stay at Villa Romana for a few nights. It is appropriate for families with 1 or 2 children. Rooms are not large, but the ocean view is nice, and 2 rooms have a small patio overlooking the harbor. Maasin is a small provincial city, so don't expect...

Stayed here for 2 nights for work that I was doing in the area. Big rooms, big bed. The hotel resto had a good view of the port. Food was ok. Staff kept disappearing within the hotel but were friendly enough when around. Had to cut my stay short but they didn't make it hard as we reserved for 4...

Perfect place to relax after a busy day at work. It feels homey. Capiz shells adorn the wooden windows. Pretty curtains.Good AC. It just needs the following to make it nicer: hairdryer, hot water, soft towels, and a spa. But seriously, it's value for your money.

Can't understand some of the adverse reviews, this hotel was great value for money, found the staff very friendly, (loved the timber floors), and the restaurant excellent, food prices very cheap. Would certainly recommend this hotel

I stayed here on 28 November 2012, paying P 1350 ( plus 5% for using Mastercard) for a basic room with breakfast. The room had an old TV with lots of cable channels, including the BBC, CNN, HBO and Australian Network. There was very little furniture in the room, with just some hanging space for clothes. The A/C and free...

“Avoid rooms facing the main street as there will be a lot of vehicle noise. There are some standard rooms not facing the main street. Rooms with a sea view are more expensive but there isn't much to see and you can get the same view in the downstairs café.”
