Go here for a wonderful views, luxurious bungalow style rooms and amazing food. This was the best hotel for us in our Sri Lanka trip earlier this year. Enjoyed the pool, and our room. My advice would be to book this well in advance as...More

Stayed in Dunkeld (Owner's Suite - Wow!!), kayaked to Summerville for afternoon tea, visited Castlereagh and Tiensin (Dunkeld wins in my humble opinion but all fabulous! I might avoid Tiensin, given that it doesn't have views and...More
My husband and I spent the final two nights of our honeymoon in the Norwood Bungalow. The view as we drove up the mountains from Yala National Park was absolutely stunning although, warning, quite car-sickness inducing, as you're making your way along acute switchbacks for...More

Without doubt Castlereagh bungalow has great views across the valley and man made lake. The swimming pool is in the grounds slightly away from the suites. It is very well maintained. The whole bungalow has a colonial ambiance with polished wood flooring, very comfortable sofas and chairs and the staff are fantastically attentive.
We have stayed here twice and wouldn't wish to stay anywhere else if in this area again.

We took the suggestion of trying 2 different Bungalows and we didn't regret staying up away from the water and then down by it. I don't think you'd regret visiting any of them as they generate very similar high standards.
