Where do I start. Ceylon was absoloutely amazing! We stayed done night in the Norwood residence and one night in the Dunkeld. The whole experience was perfect. The Norwood residence has epic scenery and is beautiful. It has more of an english heritage feel to it. The Dunkeld residence has the jacuzzi outside and is has a really cosy feel...

This property is exceptional if one is looking for complete relaxation and intimate, cozy, surroundings. We were there on a short 'mini honeymoon' for a few days and stayed at Dunkeld (Jan, 2017). The weather was perfect, cold but not freezing. The evenings benefited from the wood fire in the main living room as well as the table-side heating contraption...

First stay here. Have had Sri Lanka on the radar for a while. This was our first stay area in Sri Lanka, and what a great place to start. We were in the Norwood bungalow, which was not my first choice, but ended up being perfect. Norwood is placed very high in the mountain, right in the middle of all...

Really enjoyable 4 night stay at Tea Trails, split between Norwood and Tientsin bungalows. Setting is absolutely stunning. We felt in general during our stay in Sri Lanka that there is somewhere else better in the world to do each of the activities - except the Tea Country! This really was the highlight of our stay. The Western food was...

A tough journey by road, but once you're there it's heavenly. Excellent food, stunning views, great tour of the local tea factory, wonderful service. It was the perfect start to our honeymoon and the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka.

We stayed at the Tientsin bungalow which is the oldest of the Tea Trail bungalows and is about a 30 minute drive from the lake around which most of the other bungalows are situated. It has a genuine old worldy character consistent with its colonial heritage and Tientsin has its own beautiful gardens with a variety of plants and an...

We stayed at Tientsin bungalow which was in a beautiful place surrounded by the hills and tea plantations and with lovely garden. We could sit outside our room in perfect peace looking at the glorious flowers and birds. The staff were delightful, friendly and helpful but unobtrusive so the atmosphere was very relaxing. Drinks are served in the comfortable drawing...

Perfect place to enjoy the calmness and the beauty of the tea plantations. We stayed in 2 bungalows and they were both great and different in a way. Both have beautiful vintage furniture and clearly want to make you feel like you were at home of the owner of the plantations in a time already gone in the rest of...

Tientsin Bungalow just oozes character and charm and in the end becomes difficult to leave. The staff, who without exception are just excellent, tell you to treat the property as your home and it certainly feels that way. All inclusive certainly does mean exactly that. We had the Fraser room which is a garden suite, and apart from having a...

After 4 days of footweary temple/rock fortress/safari bashing et al what a treat to get to this place high in the mountains. The food is very good, chef explains ahead of what he is going to cook for you and will accommodate preferences, allergies etc. This morning I had the best Hopper eggs and chicken curry, lunch was a beautiful...
