Bruno's was not on our itinerary but we arrived too late to catch our boat. We got there close to nine pm and there were a few lost souls still at the bar and we added to that count. The drinks were very good and that put a smile on our face after a nightmare bus ride. we really had...

Staff was great. prices were reasonable. Not a 5 star hotel but what do you expect in Rio Dulce--a little backwater town close to nothing. Easy place to relax while traveling to Livingston or to tikal.

This review is only for the restaurant, not the hotel. Great location and view, nice bar atmosphere. A bit far from the main section of the small town but really not a problem. We had good nachos with beans but ere surprised that they did not have guacamole; seems like most other places do.

We came here because the location is ok, but it was not at all what we expected. The room was very dirty, had mold and a weird smell. I wonder if they ever really clean the rooms. There were bloodstains on the bathroom floor. The staff was very unfriendly. Do not go here!

The rooms are over priced and ordinary being a generous dicription. The restaurant staff are grumpy and add a 10% tip to the bill for the pleasure of there time. I won't throw the kitchen under the bus but it's not enough for me to ever return. Do your self a favour and walk 10 minutes up the road to...

I took the local bus from Flores, which was delayed for several hours in the middle of nowhere due to engine problems. When I arrived in Rio Dulce, it was easy to find Bruno's. The ladies at the bar checked me in, and let me borrow the room key. The dorm is very large, and rather dank. There is a...

I stumbled upon this place because it's pretty close to where the bus drops you off. The offer i got was for 260q for . a private room. In low season. I can get a room in Europe for this price, with much higher standards. Get real, Please.

The sailing crowd have made Rio Dulce a mooring spot for more than 60 years. You can sit on your balcony and watch the activity on the river, both international sailors and local water taxis and canoes. Or you can go down to the restaurant and sit at a table by the dock. There is wifi at the restaurant. There...

I checked in at 9am and left my luggage in the dorm. There were no lockers. The dorm smelt humid. I thought of asking where to leave my valuables but didn't want to draw the attention to it. The reception is actually the ladies who work in the bar. I thought my valuables would be safer in the locked dorm...

Spent a desperate night here as a last resort when we missed the last boat. Room was unclean, mouldy and full of Mosquitos. Air con was okay but extra and the room was massively overpriced!! Might as well stay a The Backpackers for a cheaper rate or even better on the river. Marina bar was okay and had free wifi....
