Paraiso Beach Hotel was mixed. Hotel needs a facelift; new grout and tile in bathrooms, mold removed from ceilings, and plants surrounding bungalows need to be replaced/refurbished. The linings and towels need updating while the "free" or included breakfast was not very good. I got the impression the "included" breakfast was only offered so you would want to buy a...

My experience was not great - perhaps it would have been better if our room was cleaner. It smelled of bug spray, the linens were discolored and ragged, and the entire room looked like it was in need of renovation or at least a fresh coat of paint or at the very least a thorough cleaning. The restaurant area, however,...

My husband and I stayed here during our Christmas holidays three nights and really enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly. Mike, the owner is very warm and welcoming. The food was good, the coconut soup and pina coladas were amazing. Reasonably priced for your own cabana with AC. Frankie, their driver is so fun. We took a tour...

Friendly owners, close to the beach, nice cabanas, and a restaurant right with excellent food and a great atmosphere- we had the ceviche with freshly caught conch and the desserts and main dishes were delicious.

We enjoyed it a lot! The cabanas are very charming, clean and comfortable. The food in the Bucaneer Restaurant is very good, we had dinner there twice. The prices are a little high for the rather small portions they're serving but are still affordable. We liked most the easy spirit in the Hotel, the friendly staff and the location (walking...

We stayed here one night in December. It was nice enough, I would stay here again. It's a short walk from town, has what you need for accommodation but nothing really special. Light in our bathroom didn't work and it seemed to be an electrical problem because changing the lightbulb didn't fix it so we just used our headlamps.

After reading some of the bad reviews on here I'm utterly shocked, first off let me say that the owner is actually very friendly and made us feel very welcome, as did all of the staff to be fair, the rooms are simple but hey it's just some where to put your head down, why stay in your room when...

We stayed at Paradaiso for 3 days in October 2014. We were trying to get to little corn island, but the ferry ended up getting cancelled for 3 straight days, so we just stayed on Big Corn. Mike (the owner) was very friendly and helpful, organized tours and social events for everyone. The cabina was spacious, clean and comfortable. It's...

These individual thatched roof bures were ideal for Big Corn Island. Very simple rooms, not pretentious, just what you need, and nothing more. If you plan on being in your room all day, probably not the right place to stay, but Big Corn Island is probably not the correct destination. Staff was very accommodating to places to go and things...

Everything about this place is perfect. Right next to the beach, thatched roofs, hammocks on our porch, and fresh coconuts. Sincere and hospitable owners and staff who are passionate about where they live, and the adventures that await. Lush, relaxing, beautiful. Paradise.
