Carlito's Place/Sunrise Paradise is set on the cool and breezy side of Little Corn Island, right on the beach. The turquoise Caribbean sea is steps away from your cabin. All cabins have a sea view, and windows on three sides let the breeze in to keep you cool at night. Each bed has a mosquito net. All rooms have their own private bathroom with toilet, wash basin and shower. Relax in a hammock on your own deck, gazing out over the sea, or pick one in the shade under a tree. Watch the sunrise from your deck, take a morning dip right out of bed, or book a snorkelling trip that leaves twice a day right from our beach. Carlito's Place is very quiet at night, but sunset drinks and live music in one of the island restaurants in the village are only a 10-minute walk away.

We didn’t stay at Carlito’s but did eat there a couple times. We had the lobster, shrimp and the fish. The food was delicious and the cost so low! We had a couple beers and frescas with an appetizer and the total was less than $60 for all 4 of us. Señor Carlito and his wife run the restaurant and were super sweet. We were staying next door so went there a few times during our stay to buy beer and pop. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the island. Its a 15-20 min walk from the town and right in the beach.

We had an amazing time! Carlito has everything you need for a beach vacation: beach access, hammock, a perfect breeze (no mosquitoes) and comfy beds. But the best thing was their outstanding hospitality and Carlito makes the best fish on the island! We would definitely love to come again!

Well-located. Easy walk to village and other areas (we walked on sand most of the way to Derek's Place). Room is right on the beach. Leave the door open for a wonderful breeze & a view of the lapping waves. The wind keeps it cool & we had no mosquitoes. Room is simple but had everything we need (we had 2 beds with bathroom). We would stay here again. Carlito is incredibly friendly & helpful. He reads the weather and when he saw us sitting under open skies, told us it was about to rain (true) & to come under shelter for 10 minutes. He brought us a fan for the room (a luxury we could've done without, due to the gentle winds). His coffee and breakfast are excellent. His kind wife makes/sells delicious tamales. He checked in with us to ensure we were having a good stay, and made recommendations for dining and activity options. He called a place in Big Corn and got us a discounted room there, which was great. After walking to/past nearly all other places to stay (even Yamaya - which looks amazing but is far from the village) we determined we had lucked into staying at the best place for us : Carlito's Place!

We didn't stay at Sunrise Paradise as we'd booked a place just a few minutes away, but Carlito's was a welcoming place to grab some delicious food next door. We had delicious garlic butter fish, and lobsters - both great and really cheap. Carlito's wife also makes fantastic tamales and empanadas (patties). We put in a request for more and she made them late in time for us to finish diving in the morning - great people, great food, and a stunning location.

My partner and I loved Carlito's place. It was a great location. Having the breeze kept us cool and the mosquitos away. Carlito and Maver were the most lovely couple and we will miss them. The breakfasts were delicious which included pan de coco, eggs and coffee. Often we were surprised with treats from them which were, fresh coconuts, mangoes and island baking. Maver helped organize a birthday cake for my partner which was awesome. They are both genuinely good hearted people which are hard to find. So I highly recommend staying there to meet them and have some great chats.

The location is perfect, the cabin it´s also fine and renwed, most of them with bathroom inside. The also offer nice food and breakfast not included but worth it, as Mavor & Carlitos are not only very good host but also cookers.

We booked a week and stayed a night. There was no mosquito net. When we asked they said there were no mosquitos, there were mosquitos, and they did put one in. Buildings are very basic. Restaurant is so cold (in feeling) harsh lights almost no furniture. Not a single nice touch. but food was ok. The hammocks are only on your deck. They are plastic/nylon and so tight they hurt to be in. Also they have a beam, I suppose necessary for support, right next to the middle of it so you can't sway more than a few inches without your hip banging into it. No nice spot to lounge relax. Unfimshed roofs on palapas so no sun protection. A few plastic chairs around and one swinging chair which was broken. Funny, it was the only thing that felt natural in the whole place and it was all falling apart. We moved next door to Grace's Spot and paid $40 instead of Carlitos $80(!?) just as basic but offers so much more in every other way, and it had charm and character and covered places to lounge and chill. I wouldn't typically write such a scathing review but the guys arrogance to charge twice as much as his neighbors and also much more then far better accommodations on the other side is downright rude, and he totally doesn't get it. I can't abide by this type of person.

Great updates at Carlitos! The new cabañas have their own private bathrooms and are equipped with full and queen beds, mosquito nets, and a comfortable space to rest. The cabañas are close to the Caribbean Ocean , where you can relax on a hammock and read a book. Great customer service and are always available if help is needed. Prices vary depending on the size of the cabaña you choose and the location (beachfront); either $79 or $99. Contact Carlitos now to make your reservations and enjoy this paradise!

Carlito's Place has renovated most of his cabins, which now all have a beach view (even the ones set back a little). They each have private bathroom, mosquito nets and bars in the windows so you can leave them open (on three sides!) at night to catch the cool breeze. The room feels spacious, and has a good size deck with enough space for a hammock and a chair. Carlito built a breakwater right in front of his hotel to stop the beach from eroding, which has resulted in a gorgeous beach right on the doorstep of your cabin. Another great reason to stay at Carlito's is The Karma Shack, where you can take daily yoga classes or get a wonderful massage!

We stayed at Carlito's on LCI from Dec 22- to Jan 5. We stayed in the two bedroom caban with the small kitchen in it. We were littlerly 30 feet from the front door to the ocean. The place was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Whatever small things we asked for Carlito provided. He was also a great resource for what to do and where to go on the island. The room had a fan, combined with the constant breeze from the ocean made sleeping more than comfortable. There are 3-4 places to eat within a 10 min walk from Carlito's and a 30 min walk to "town" Overall a great place to chill, read a book hang out on the beach right in front of the caban- we'll be back
