In mid January I stayed at Yemaya for 5 days as part of a yoga retreat, my expectations were exceeded by the Caribbean luxury of this fabulous resort location on the most magical island i have ever traveled to. While the resort is set on the northern part of the island its easy to never venture off the property. The...

Excellent Resort, idyllic location; luxury lodges; very friendly people and outstanding restaurant.... ; If you want to relax, this is the place to be. The Island and the village are very charming and safe. the boat trips with the private boats and own captains of Yemaya are very doable even when the sea is rough.

We were so looking forward to our stay here. Rooms: we stayed in Room 15. It was mammoth, extremely comfortable and had everything you could want. The elegance and beauty is amazing. However, Room 15 is right over the bar kitchen and you smell cooked seafood all day. It was horrible for my vegetarian wife. Food: the food was generally...

The staff was amazing, extremely considerate and accomodating and the location is STUNNING. The room was bright and full of natural light, the colors of the beach, trees and ocean were magical and it was an amazing week at Yemaya. And the food was DELICIOUS!

For one whole week we became totally spoilt in all possible ways at Yemaya. The bungalow, the food (first class cuisine) the drinks, the climate, the sea temperatur, the ocean view, the reef snorkling, the spa, the overall setting: everything was perfect. No motorvehicles, No disturbing sounds (apart from birdsong and the waves). Heaven on earth? Ashvin and his crew...

I spent a week at Yemaya as part of a yoga retreat. I arrived after 26 hours of travel, and when I walked into my cabana I almost wept. It was so beautiful with a glorious view out big sliding doors onto a deck that looked out over the turquoise green of the Caribbean Sea. The people who work at...

It took a lot of travel to arrive at Yemaya but it was totally worth it. We left Granada at 4:15 a.m. to catch a flight to Managua, took a taxi to get to the dock to wait a couple of hours to catch the panga to Little Corn, where another launch was awaiting us to take us to Yemaya....

Thank you for your nice feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the beauty of Yemaya and the island. This place is truly paradise. We got on the private boat to Yemaya and the ride from Big Corn to Little Corn was about 30 minutes. The ride up to the resort is choppy but once you pull up to this place, you will be BLOWN AWAY. White sand, clear waters that range in tones of blue and green that...

Excellent location on beautiful beach with world class snorkeling and diving nearby. Spacious rooms and wonderful restaurant. The dining is absolutely superb. Free snorkeling equipment available. Pricey but probably worth it for the location and top notch amenities and cuisine.
