Upon seeing the hotel and our room we knew we had made the right decision. Picking the most expensive place in a location does not always mean picking the best place, but in this case, it was. The beach is probably the best on the island and your room is literally directly on the beach We had Suite 1, which...

I almost don't want to write this review for fear of others discovering this amazing place! Hidden away on Little Corn Island is the picture perfect paradise that is Yemaya. From the rooms directly on the beach luxuriously equipped with AC, hot water, beautiful bathrooms and divine beds, to the gorgeous common areas and five star service, this hotel was...

We stayed at Yemaya for four days and we enjoyed every bit of it. The boat ride on the way in was quite an adventure but we were warmly greeted by Michelle who is the manager. The hotel is incredibly charming and the beach is just incredible. The rooms a spacious and functional, though as it is a sort of...

I went to Little Corn Island for a yoga retreat. We were first greeted with fresh juice when we got off of the boat and then welcomed with open arms. The staff there went above and beyond make sure our stay was enjoyable. I would absolutely go back to Yemaya for vacation. The rooms look right out to the ocean....

I visited Yemaya for a yoga retreat this April. It was my first trip to this part of the world and I was very impressed. It was the perfect combination of time to practice yoga (both with the retreat and with Yemaya's instructor Haily, who-full disclosure- is my daughter), relax, walk into the village, paddle board and enjoy the beach....

The water was as warm as bathwater and as clear as you can imagine. There wasn't much to see when we went snorkeling so I was a bit disappointed there. The wait staff was top notch and the food was AMAZING! I have to admit I am a bit of a foodie and was nervous. The food did not disappoint!...

Dear anitawambaugh, Thank you for your feedback. Yemaya Island Hideaway & Spa does not have a new management, the resort has been, and continues to be, a part of Colibri Boutique Hotels for the 4th year now. Having said that, we certainly do not agree that our employees are being forced to work 10 hour days without food. If only...

We stayed April 8-15. We selected Yemaya based on some reviews on this site and a few others. It looked like a fabulous resort-their website is so well done and inviting. The passage to Yemaya is a bit rough-the plane landing in Big Corn was a bit sideways, followed by a rough Panga ride from Big Corn to Little Corn....

We loved this place! So far it has been the most beautiful hotel we stayed at in Nicaragua. The staff has been so nice and the manager introduced himself the first evening, very friendly. This was my second time visiting Little Corn Island and my first time staying at Yemaya. It is a magical place and Yemaya is by far the most luxurious, and only true resort on the island.
