We visited for a two night stay in the low season, mid March. The hotel was very quiet and we were upgraded to a fabulous room. Wonderful bathroom, lovely shower & spa bath with L’Occitane complimentary toiletries. Comfortable bed & very clean room. Small fridge and kettle with tea & coffee. Some lovely little details to the room, including a tree! Room 105. I am sure other rooms are nice & have their own individual finishing touches. We had a terrace overlooking the herb & vegetable garden which was very pleasant. The hotel offered a safe place for our mountain bikes to be stored during our stay. We had dinner in the restaurant, there was a limited menu as we were the only diners and the food was delicious with very friendly service. Breakfast was not included and we had this the first morning but declined the second as we felt quite pricey for what we were served. Unfortunately, we did not see the hotel at its best as the outside space & pool looked like in the summer months a great place to be. We will have to go back. Overall a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend this hotel. Merci beaucoup! …
This charming offbeat hotel was home for 4 days in January. The owners upgraded us to a beautiful suite and were wonderful about letting us order from the dining room menu (dining room was closed) and delivering dinner to our room. They were helpful about dinner reservations as well but it was a bit rainy and cold so we were happy to eat in. The hotel is a short distance from town, which was wonderful. There is a friendly old dog, breakfasts are outstanding, owners were good company. Highly recommended for a winter hideaway.I have a back problem and they took pains to find me the most convenient room (Choice of three). We would go back if it wasn't so far from Oregon! Beautiful and generous amenities as well. a real find on our month.long tour of Corsica.
Don’t get mistaken by pictures. It’s a very average place, terriby overpriced for its standard. It might have been something 30 years ago but today the rooms are ugly, dark and very unpleasant. Staff not interested in whether you’re ok
I booked this hotel as I was staying in August for a few nights in Bonifaccio and the hotel where my family was staying (Version Maquis) was fully booked. This hotel was recommended on TripAdvisor. I cannot believe I spent over 425eur for a room which looked and smelled like a cave (moist, hardly any daylight), air-conditioning up for review, 'free' internet connection did not work inside the bedroom and the bed was 1.80 long (which even for my height 1.65m too short). Understood they could not opt for a longer bed as the bedroom was maybe 2.20m large... A huge disappointment. I would have loved to give this feedback in person, unfortunately upon check out, the receptionist did not pay any attention to me as he was on the phone the whole time. I also dined one evening in the restaurant, which was hopeful at start (great welcome, great starter) but then we had to wait for 45 min for the main dish and the food was not impressive. Overall way too expensive for what it is. At this level of service they can easily split the prices in half even in high season.…
A delightful little hotel with all the amenities you would expect..pool, restaurant etc. The staff were very obliging and gave us an upgrade on one of our rooms which was a wonderful surprise. It is a little oasis and well worth the visit. We did eat in the restaurant on one night. The food is definitely at the top end price wise and not for those looking for comfort food (like my sons!). It was very, very tasty though. The rooms where small but very clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. We would definitely look to stay again if visiting the area.
