I have just returned from a four night stay at the wonderful Les Charmes de Carlucet. This is probably the best B&B I have ever stayed at in the whole of France. It is so peaceful and so relaxing and I have to say I cannot wait to return. The host is a lovely man with a wealth of knowledge...

I was here about 5 years ago and loved it, so I was delighted to return & find it just as wonderful as the first time. It is in an ideal location - just about 15 minutes from Sarlat. The place is lovely and very comfortable & quiet with easy parking, a lovely garden. & heated swimming pool. The owner,...

We discovered Les Charmes De Carlucet some years ago and now plan our French trips around a stay at this exceptional B & B. Situated in one of the most attractive parts of the Dordogne, on the edge of a tiny village close to the charming old market town of Sarlat, Les Charmes is the ideal base from which to...

We just arrived after 17 nights stay in Les Charmes de Carlucet. As the year before, we found Eric, the owner of this wonderful place, welcoming us with a rose and a glass of wine. The large room was perfect, comfortable and beautifull. Eric was always there to answer all questions and took care we will not miss new beautifull...

This was our second stay at Les Charmes, and although it was over 6 years ago since our last visit, Eric remembered us and was just as welcoming - as was Filou, the official "meet & greet" dog! We previously stayed in the main house, but this time we came with friends so we were given two upstairs bedrooms in one...

This was the fourth time we have stayed at Les Charmes and the experience was as good as ever. The owner, Eric, was as concerned as ever for our comfort and looked after us very well. This year we wanted to relax and recuperate and this is the ideal place to do that. The elegant restored house and extensive grounds...

Beaux Rêves was just perfect. Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful setting and in a lovely peaceful area of the Dordogne. The gîte was very well equipped with everything you for your holiday. Eric was the perfect host, helpful, full of suggestions and even delivering bread & croissants. We were sad to leave but sure we will be back. ,

As my holiday plans fell through I joined my parents during their stay at Beaux Reves. I was only there for 3 days but it was ideal and Eric was a perfect host, providing us with ideas of what to do to make the most out of my trip! Our first time in the Dordogne and we were not disappointed with either the area or our accomodation. Eric is the most friendly of hosts, and our room was immaculate down to every detail. Cannot recommend highly enough. Many thanks for a lovely few days.
