Stayed here when attending a wedding in castle durrow . It's an ideal alternative to the costly accommodation in the Castle itself . Room we had was spacious and very clean . The young girl at reception was friendly and accommodating . Breakfast good too : I would definitely recommend to all .

If you like a nice juicy steak call in here. Served with a smile by the pleasant waitress the tender sirloin steak was cooked to perfection. The flavour of the meat was superb and not over seasoned like so many modern chefs seem to inflict on their clients. I for one love this wonderful delicacy when it's prepared and cooked properly....

Visited this hotel with friends for a catch up. We are a very easy going bunch and we're not too bothered about food or service as we just wanted to have a chat. We ordered our food and drinks and continued with our chats. It was busy enough evening and I understand that staff are under pressure however we did...

Was at a wedding across the road in Castle Durrow needed a place to stay found here it did the job for the few hours sleep we needed room was fairly old fashioned and I would guess that is mainly stays in business is the overflow from the wedding venue across the road. Seemed quite enough.

Easily found, right on the corner near the entrance to Castle Durrow, this restaurant serves up some delicious lunchtime meals. As evidenced by the many locals we saw dining there, this is a great choice for a mid day meal or dinner after a day's exploring and one can chose either to eat at the bar or one of the...

We arrived at this hotel on the hottest day in Ireland in 10 years. It is an old stone building so management was concerned re our comfort. While it was warm, it was not oppressive in the bedrooms with windows open. The dining staff (the dining room is quite elegant) allowed us to make ourselves comfortable outside in the late...
