I will start by saying that the line staff was good they were slow but friendly I never got a fully carbonated soda the whole time I was there unless I was getting a bottle out of my room now I will tell you about the ending I left a bag in the gift shop before I left for the airport totally my fault. The driver was nice enough to call the hotel and they had already retrieved the bag. I was told that they would send the bag with the next scheduled driver who would leave about 10:45am. We were told he would arrive about 11:30 which he did without the bag. After another driver arrived without the bag we called the resort and was told that security took possession of the bag and wasn’t going to release it. Lucky I had my passport with me or I would have missed my flight. I honestly believe they would have released the bag if it wasn’t cash and an IPad in the bag anyway we have been calling all week since we left on. 12/4/23. Every time we call we speak to someone they tell us they will call us back and never do . I feel that if this is a alleged top not resort they would take care of you if you make a mistake. I also think that if it wasn’t any money in my bag they would have returned it. Anyway the unprofessional way that we have been treated is not acceptable. You should never feel like you are at the mercy of the resort after you spent damn near 8000 for the trip. I will keep writing until this situation is resolved. We scheduled another trip for Cancun but I think we will try Secrets or something
