Victor was the best server at Bóno and provided excellent recommendations! The air conditioning was a bit chilly and some people changed tables to avoid the air flow. Lovely ambiance otherwise. An elegant look with a casual vibe.
The views from El Conquistador are absolutely beautiful, including from our balcony with ocean view. Comfortable spacious rooms and good service. The restaurant at Palomino Island was the best we had there, although we didn't get a chance to try Ballyhoo or Brisas. Bono was FREEZING cold and the food was nothing special. The views, Palomino Island, and the location (we did a biobay tour, ate at some wonderful local restaurants, and spent a day at El Yunque) were the highlights of our experience. We would definitely return!
Luis was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and suggested great options for us. Impeccable service, extremely professional and made our experience a phenomenal one. Thank you Luis! Took great care of us for our first stay at the resort.
The bedrooms were lovely and with a wonderful view. The beaches were gorgeous. The restaurant, Bo-no had amazing food and incredible service, truly a great place. The waiter, Luis, gave us great recommendations.
Gilbert was timely fun friendly and was able to get us to our destination and also give us a tour of the area while we are here and San Juan Puerto Rico. He is the best Uber driver from airport to hotel. Highly recommend Gilbert .
Although, this property had some of the most beautiful tropical landscaping I’ve ever seen, it was unfortunately the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had! Do not fall for the hotel room price - there will be many service charges added to your bill. For example, we were charged for “bell service” twice without being told there would be a charge for someone to show us where our room was. We were also charged for “room service” when we never ordered any room service. There is also a resort fee of $40 for each night you stay, which we were not aware of. The restaurants here were a huge disappointment. The hours are very limited and many times the food took over 30-40min to come out and you would be sitting for 10-15min with no server in sight. You also won’t find any authentic Puerto Rican dishes here. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are very spacious. Most of them have beautiful views around the facility, but although we booked an “ocean view” we were facing a tree on the 1st floor and we woke up to go karts driving back and forth outside our balcony. The big tree was beautiful, but we definitely wanted an ocean view. So, we ended up changing rooms and got a room on the 5th floor, which was much better. Although, there was an ant problem even though we were high above the ground. The bathtub/showers are also sunk down and a little challenging to get in and out of - you can slip and fall if you’re not careful! In addition, we had trouble sleeping as there is a lot of noise in the hallways that you can hear easily inside your room. The best thing we did enjoy was Palomino Island - the beach was very relaxing, there are restrooms and a restaurant on site. The boat ride was really nice as well. It is a shame that the hotel does not meet the expectation of staying at a resort. I would have certainly expected a higher level of service, hospitality and value for my money.…
A good dinner, has a lot or room for improvement regarding the food. They need to put more interest in the kitchen area. Amazing location and great service by our server Bolivar. Over all is was a good experience. Not something to repeat but decent enough for a Wednesday dinner night.
There is no place more beautiful on earth. A casino, water everywhere, if you look out far enough you can see the Caribbean islands. The restaurants are outstanding and you can get lost in the foliage.
I’m writing this review to show my appreciation to the excellent Coqui Water Park staff . Eduardo , Alex , and Mikey were wonderful . They helped my daughter , Hannah , overcome her fear of the big water slide . They knew her by name and were very nice . She had lots of fun there. Thank you
Luis Morales is a rare gem !! If you go to BONO Italian restaurant, you must get the best waiter there to add his personal pizazz and style to your experience. He made our first meal here especially delicious by his professional guidance through the menu. Thank you Luis !! You are one in a million!
