We left the from Philadelphia in a snow storm and were one of few flights that didn't get canceled, so don't let that deter you from planning a trip during winter months. Our whole family went and we stayed in a 3 bedroom villa/condo. Room has everything you want . . .full kitchen, 3 bathrooms, TV, DVD, beautiful view, small...

The views, private island, gondola, and water park are worth the trip alone. I have travelled extensively over the years and this is physically one of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed at. I stayed in Casita 5255 and it had one of the best views on the property.

We spent 3 days at this resort. This is part of the whole El Conquistador Resort. Beautiful grounds and pools. There is no good beach but the resort includes a ferry trip to Palomino Island which has a beautiful beach. Food was also good at this resort. The only issue we had was the Wifi. It was non-existent even when...

Great family destination. Lots to do. Palomino Island is great. Golf is fun. Food was poor and high priced and that is my only complaint. We enjoyed El Yunque, zip lining, snorkeling and many other things while there.

I stayed at the Las Casitas Village with my husband, nanny and two toddlers and we all had a blast. There is so much to do and see just in the resort itself. The private island is a real treat. The pools are nice and clean. We truly enjoyed our experience at this resort and would highly recommend it.

Not a luxury hotel brand of a Woldrof Astoria . The hotel rooms, pool area are very worn looking. The only good part are the spectacular views which get a an A. Staff at front desk are not very welcoming . They were more helpful at the casitas

The grounds at Las Casitas and the El Conquistador are spectacular. The private island is awesome. That said, the rooms are starting to show their age, and we repeatedly had to ask for stuff that we were promised (i.e., a large crib for our son, a high chair, a ground floor room, etc.). We still had a fabulous vacation there,...

Ripoff. Do NOT be fooled by the "Waldorf-Astoria" tag. It is a giant (I mean huge) glorified convention center with a run down hotel attached. We received consistently terrible service, with an attitude, throughout our stay (when you can get it -- be prepared to wait for the phone to your "personal butler" to ring 10-12 times before someone at...
