Our family of 3 had a 2 night stay at Pinegrove cottage as part of the Alps To Ocean bike ride and were very satisfied with the accommodation and facilities. There are full kitchen facilities , laundry with dryer/washing machine, wifi and comfortable beds. Raylene is a great host and the location is very peaceful ( which gave us a...

This cabin is PERFECT for a couple that doesnt need the ritz Carlton. Purely for sleep and small meals from the fish you caught. The owners are very accomadating. Very close to the beaches and shopping. The kayaks for rent and markets are less than a mile down the road. Bait shops are within 4 miles. There is really no...

Hotel is located in a remote street, far away from the town center, and hard to find (my two smartphone navigation apps didn't t recognize its name). The apartment is large and cozy, the kitchen is fully equipped. TV screen is very very tiny, maybe 20", far from being suitable for the large living room. Moreover, the TV was not...

Raylene made us feel right at home even to the extent of lending us her car so we could go back into town and have dinner at Poppies. After a long day on our bikes she thought we might be over cycling to dinner. She was right! Four of us stayed in one cottage and it was real comfy. Bonus...

Pros - Spacious - Facilities: washer, dryer, d/washer - Quiet - Comfortable main bed Cons - No WIFI at units, despite advertised availability. If you're an international traveller this is an inconvenience. - Price, it is on the higher end considering point above. - 9.30am checkout was the earliest encountered on our trip

Pinegrove Cottage is a little outside of Twizel which makes up for a good night rest. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need and even washing machine and dryer are available. At night you can sit outside and watch the sky. I have never in my life seen so many stars all sparkling down on me. Great to...

Great accomodation, all you need from dishwasher to micro-wave oven, confortable, very clean, very quiet remote area... I agree with all the other comments, it's a great place, BUT there was no wi-fi, as it was advertised. Discussing with the landlady, she told me the wi-fi was available at her house, 25m away. Wich is great. But I can't use...

Have stayed hear now for 3years in a row and looking forward to march 11th this year. Excellent in all regards. Always clean, neat and tidy and previous owners would leave homemade cakes of some sort - little touches like that makes one feel the South Island hospitality. Located just on the outskirts it feels like a real getaway, but...

We were positively surprised by this lovely place and the value we got for our money. We stayed for two nights, but the location would have suited us for a whole week, too. It is very spacey, two bed rooms, large bathroom, large living room with TV, full kitchen with all equipment, nice terrace to sit put side even with...

Raeleen was tremendous going out of her way to help. The accommodation was warm, very clean and had all of the comforts from home. Ideal for 1-4 people with all modern conveniences. I recommend this as ideal to stay and explore the mount cook area
