Korey and Anita were excellent hosts, making us feel welcome but giving us plenty of our own space. Our room was comfortable with our own entrance but we ate breakfast in the family dining room with other guests. It was delicious, relaxed and both hosts were around to tend to every need. Korey gave us excellent advice for our day...

Thanks for your review. We are glad to hear that we are striking a good balance between our guests being part of our family and also enjoying their own space. Its important to us that our guests feel welcome to join us, but also feel free to do their own thing. Thanks for your kind words, Anita

We arrived and we were sorted and directed to our rooms with everything we needed efficiently. A wonderful family looked after us with a great breakfast each morning and a easter surprise on Sunday. Great big bed, room and shower, coffee and biscuits, it has the style and grace of a 5 star hotel room and the comforts of a...

Thanks you so much for your kind words. Korey and I strive to achieve this balance. We think that a few home like comforts are important, especially for traveler's on a long trip around New Zealand. Twizel is a great place for those wanting either a action packed holiday or just a relaxed time out. Thanks again Anita

The room was large, clean and comfortable, and our hosts had thought of everything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed sharing a drink and chatting with them during their "happy hour" in the evening.

As many of us "Tripadvisories" have stated, Anita and Korey are really great hosts. The accommodation is well above average, the breakfasts are superb, help and guidance is readily available for local visits and the Lodge is well situated in Twizel for restaurants and shops. There is private parking and the gardens are a lovely oasis of flora that each...

Thanks for your kind words. Our children enjoyed your visit. They enjoy meeting other children. Maybe we will see you again some day. Yes, the siren is loud, but it is a necessary part of rural communities. I like to send my good thoughts out to the volunteers that go out when it sounds. They do a great job.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Aoraki Lodge. Anita and Korey make you feel welcome from the first moment on, and are very helpful in planning local activities, or providing restarant recommendations. All rooms have separate access from the house, in a beautifully kept garden. The room was very comfortable, with a well equipped tea tray. Their breakfast is...

A 'standard' NZ style hotel room in a very special location, right in middle of town, in a walled private garden, with plenty of space to relax and kick back. Sharing an early evening beer with the hosts was fun and breakfast was delicious and well made. These guys put obvious thought into making their place what it is and...

We choose to stay here for two nights as it was in a great position for us to visit Mt Cook. What a great decision it was as it has to be our favourite place so far. Our room was great and overlooking the garden. The bathroom was faultless, the shower so big. We were made to feel so welcome...
