We visited NZ in late February and March. We stayed in Wanaka Alpine Lodge for two nights. Lynda and Mike made sure that we felt at home. They were very helpful in giving us tips about things to see and do. Including good restaurants to eat. Breakfast was included. Cooked breakfast BTW. Mike made cooked to order breakfast, plus other...

Wanaka Alpine lodge was very accommodating and cosy. The hosts - Lynda and Mike were great people and Mike even offered us a ride to our wedding transport on the Friday, saving us a taxi fare. The breakfast was great, Mike also offers eggs every morning for breakfast. We had some great neighbours that we chatted with. Definitely recommend this...

Glad you enjoyed your stay Amy, and the wedding. You have mentioned the best thing about staying in a bed and breakfast, both for the guests and the hosts - great people to meet and talk to. Regards, Lynda and Mike

We got 4 overnights in a luxe room. Each day a cleaned room and a marvellous breakfast. They helped us very well, when we needed support, after I got an accident. Lynda and Mike, we hope to come back! Greetings from Renske and Frits, the Netherlands

Lynda is a great host and this B&B outside of Wanaka is a great choice. The rooms are modern and very clean. Simply put, if you compare the rooms to a hotel I would say it is comparable to a 4 star hotel. The room is extremely spacious and the bathroom is large and clean. I would have loved the...

Very comfortable and clean room. Hosts were very friendly and helpful with planning for things to do. Very nice breakfast, really felt like home here. Hiking Mt. Iron (great scenic views) means just crossing the road. Mike also had a bike available for me.

You can tell when a B&B was designed and built from the ground up. The Wanaka Alpine Lodge is just that kind of place. The rooms are very comfortable, we could drive right up to ours and access the car from the room's sliding door. The common room was large and could be used around the clock. We had an...

Hi guys, thank you for taking the time to give a review, it will be very helpful to others. We enjoy the personal touches we can offer our guests, I feel that's what makes the bed and breakfast experience unique. We have told lots of other guests about your dining experience, too, it confirmed for us again that the WGK...

It's a great little place, we booked the luxury apartment and it was lots of space with a nice view! There were homey touches like homemade banana bread and cookies left from the hosts, it was a lovely stay in Wanaka!

lovely room, great breakfast, delightful host (Lynda and Mike). Out of town but great view of mountains around Wanka. Lynda will have great suggestions for you to explore Wanka. Rooms are large but surprisingly secluded from other guests.

Mike and Lynda are very welcoming hosts, everything is thought of and the rooms are very large and comfortable and air-conditioned! One of the very few places we stayed that was and it was a welcome relief on a hot January day. Breakfast was delightful as was talking with Mike and Lynda about their property and the Wanuka area. Good to hear from you, Alex. I remember you enjoying the air conditioning, both the heating and the cooling have been used this summer as the weather has been rather varied this season. Enjoyed talking with you, too, it's the best part of what we do, meeting people from all over the world. Regards, Lynda
