The staff were exceptional! they were so friendly, put on a canape night on the friday. They were very helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Nothing was too much effort for them. The rooms were really warm and clean. The bed were comfortable. Absolutely lovely stay. do not have a negative thing to say about it.

This place was simply amazing. The owners were so welcoming it was like home. The room was very comfortable, warm, spacious, had a great balcony, its way better than some hotels I've stayed in. As for the cooked breakfast I wouldn't know where to start, plenty of it, available over a reasonable time frame, cooked especially for you, coffee and...

Te Wanaka is a few moments walk from the lake and the main town. The room was comfortable, bright and clean and above all warm (could control temperature if you wanted to). Despite being the only client on the first night (early season), I was presented with a full range of cereals and fruits, fresh coffee and cooked options. The...

We spent one night here and enjoyed it. The common area is quite comfortable with the fireplace and cozy couches to hang out in. There's free coffee and tea anytime you want it and around 2 PM they have dessert for tea time. Breakfast is also good. The room was a bit small, but had everything we needed for the...

Thank you for taking the time to review our lodge. I think the simple idea of coffee and cake served for afternoon tea is appreciated by our guests. It is the simple things that count sometimes!

We stayed in one of the offsite properties managed by Te Wanaka Lodge which was brilliant. The house was spotless and well appointed with a fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher), 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There was also a lovely garden with outdoor furniture so we could enjoy the lovely weather. The location was fantastic - less than 5 minutes...

The location, rooms, service, parking, cleanliness and views of this hotel were perfect. The only thing that was a major let down was the breakfast. i do not consider one piece of cheap white bread and microwaved scrambled egg hearty or tasty, in fact i call it an insult to your guests. With the breakfast being so extremely poor it...

I'm terribly sorry you felt our breakfast's were not to your standards. As you can see we get plenty of positive responses from our cooked and the continental buffet. Our cooked optrion does vary each day of the week.

We received a friendly welcome at this centrally located hotel, the owner being more than happy to recommend local eateries. The room was comfortable, although not large, but had we wanted to spend time at the hotel in the evening a good lounge sitting area with books and games was available. The inclusion of breakfast was welcome, including a cooked...

One thing that stands about this lodge is that the owners/staff members are very friendly. We were greeted very warmly by the owner after our day long trip. As a lodge, the property is quite good. Decent sized, clean and cosy rooms with free wifi. The lodge has a common breakfast area where you can mingle with other guests. Its...

Te Wanaka is better thn average but not quite very good. Best part, the rooms are great. Extremely clean with a very comfortable bed. Well heated bathrooms for the colder days and a great balcony. The owners are more than polite and accommodating and sincerely made us feel "at home". Three seperate indoor common areas to spend time at if...

Rather quirky building and layout, only 5mins walk from centre. Small bedroom with small balcony. No drink facilities in room but can DIY in main building at any time. Free WiFi in room. Breakfast was small buffet and then a fixed, cooked offering. Comfortable enough with pleasant staff, but wouldn't really want to say more than the one night we...
