We stayed at the Arabian Nights Annex for five days in August. We were there for kiteboarding, site seeing and relaxation. Silas and his staff are wonderful, responsive, kind and welcoming. Upon our arrival we were asked to have a seat in the lounge area and enjoy a glass of passion juice before checking in. The rooms were new, large,...

We stayed in the sea view suite right on the beach. Rooms basic but adequate. Hotel site boasts about having a bath - don't believe this, it would take several hours to fill it up, then it would be cold. The bath is basically just the bottom of a large shower area, a bit like a tiled jacuzzi area. The...

We spent two weeks at Arabian nights and had a fantastic time thanks to Massood and Hashir and their excellent staff, who went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We stayed at the seafront suite very close to the sea. The room was extremely clean and huge with a nice bathroom and comfortable bed....

We stayed at Arabian nights for 2 nights, about 10 people in all. The rooms - bungalows with ocean views - were enormous. I could have stashed the entire group in the bedroom and bathroom. Aircon was excellent as it was very hot. The staff were very friendly, especially the kitchen staff. MUCH MUCH nicer than the nearby Paje by...

Agree with last few reviews. Been to many places on the island, and none beats Paje! And as for location, none beats the sea view rooms and suites at Arabian. Great area, great food, great place. Lots to do in the area, and many funky places close by. Love the staff and the restaurant. Service and food is great! Masul...

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Amazing beach and a great location. The organized trips were lovely too… there aren’t many places in the world where you can...

Me and mine spent part of our honeymoon at Arabian Nights, and we would recommend it to any other couple + anyone anyway. Silas, Hashir, the kitchen staff, and the big, friendly manager, gave us wonderful treatment! When we booked, they trusted us on our word and did not insist on us paying half the amount beforehand, online or however....

There is no alcohol served in this hotel (like: never, as a principle rule). For your Kili beer, you have to go somewhere else. Rooms are clean; bedding is okey; bathroom is (in all rooms) shabby but do-able; Wifi available (but no computer, so bring your own laptop); breakfast is super-simple; restaurant offers rather good food, but reserve before 13:00...

Just to let all travellers to Zanzibar know that there has been no electricity on the island for more than 2 months, this means no fans, no air-cons, no ice, no cold drinks, very little water pressure, in fact no hot water during the day - Arabian Nights has a generator which is switched on at night 6:30 allowing the...

I visited Arabian Nights with my kids for 2 weeks vacation. I must say even though there was no electricity, I had no complaints. The service, food , rooms were great. My kids enjoyed swimming in the pool and even though there were no lights all time we had no problem at all. I would recommend anyone looking for good...
