This resort is around 1.5km away from Dumaguete's downtown proper. Decent price, decent pool, decent room, decent resort. Its a quiet and Peaceful place as well. There are rooms which doesnt offer any views at all and there are rooms which face the sea and Cebu Island. They also have a Chapel in the resort. You can hold a small... More

Arrived to discover a sleepy security guard, who, having looked bemused as 2 quite obvious tourists strolled towards the 'resort', proceeded to advise the 'resort' had closed down some months previously. We had paid in full (albeit only $25) for 1 night's stay, and noted that several sites including Agoda (where we had made the booking) were continuing to show... More

Good pool, clean rooms and a reasonable price. There's also a cracking vodka bar attached to it that is criminally underused. Points docked for the air conditioning not working properly in our room, it seemed to be stuck at 25% of coolness. Stay away from c2 and you'll be good, our friends stayed 2 down and their aircon worked fine.

We just spent a weekend at South Sea Resort and found the resort to be a great value and beautiful place. Everything about it was first class and well mainatained. However, unless you like brown murky water like the Barnegat Bay in NJ, I recommend you stick to Sarasota or other gulf beach towns that have gorgeous water.

Yes this place has seen better days but it is comfortable and clean and has everything you need. The pool is nice and the staff are friendly. The rooms are nice and the location is quiet. There is a really nice bar at the front of this property too. The only downside is the location as it is a bit... More

Hotel has seen better days but staff was friendly and food was awesome and the location is beautiful.Only negative comments would be if the mineral deposits in the shower enclosure were removed the bathroom would look much better.

after reading several other reviews here i must agree that this place has seen better days. while the desk staff is quite friendly, the restaurant staff was not so. i ate there twice and both times they gave me a full menu and then when i had decided what i wanted the response was... "i'm sorry we don't have that"... More

We had several seminars in Dumaguete in Southsea and the rooms are clean, food is delicious especially the seafoods. This place is memorable for me because I had an accident at their beach. I slipped and fell amd hit my head at the stairs leading to the beach. Good thing the hotel staff brought me to the hospital

This place must have been quite nice in its former glory but that is no longer the case. Me and my husband checked the place out thinking that we could stay here for two nights. But upon looking closer, it was dirty. The room was dusty and had a worn feeling to it. There were holes in the screen too.... More
