We booked at coco grande hotel dumaguete from April 16-27 so we could encourage our son and his team and other players we know from the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) as they will be playing football at the Palarong Pambansa here at Dumaguete. But when I came home one night at the hotel , on April 19, 2013, Friday, I...

Coco Grande is a fine, clean place. Service could be more attentive but isn't bad. The freshly made breakfast is good for the price of the hotel. It's a bit of a walk to town but not far; make sure to walk the other way to Laba-as Seafood.

We stayed at the Coco Grande for 1-night in early March while in transit from Siquijor to Puerto Princesa (P1344/$34). The hotel is located on Hibbard Ave, a busy Silliman University campus street crowded with tricycles. Our room was a spacious standard, with a queen bed, two end tables, a desk, table and chairs, refrigerator and AC (no inroom safe)....

We stayed in Coco Grande for two days, the room is small and air-condition has a big noise. The most important thing was the reception forgot to pass the information from APO island hotle for us, that made us missed the big boat that APO island hotel arranged for us, which is unbelievable that a hotel's reception forgot it.

We were supposed to sleep at their sister hotel in siquijor but the boat got cancelled because of typhoon warning. They managed to find us a ferry ticket for the next day which was good but that was about the only positive thing. The room are old, the bed terrible (so old that it was impossible for two people to...

Great location and helpful, friendly staff but the whole place is need of serious upgrading. The bed sagged horribly, the bedspread looked like it was 20 years old and the shower faucet was hard to use, had either a scalding hot shower or an ice cold one. With all this said, it was still the perfect place for a one...

We stayed in the Coco Grande for four nights in early December, 2012, and found it to be a very clean, well-run and pleasant mid-range hotel. The rooms are well-arranged with good storage space. The location is convenient, within walking distance of the ferry piers and downtown restaurants and shops (it's hot so one may want to take a tricycle...

Stayed here for 2 nights, before and after our trip to Siquijor Island. On the 1st night, me & my friends stayed at their dorm at the top floor of the hotel. Except for the plight of stairs we had to take, I would recommend this room to a big group of travelers especially if they don't mind using a...

Maybe it's because of all the interesting decor and furniture. We were referred to this hotel after a stay at their sister hotel resort in Siquijor, Coco Grove. Coco Grande is like a tiny slice of it. The hotel is close to many of the go-to places in Dumaguete City, like downtown, the pier, boulevard, restaurants, Silliman University; without having...

The hotel is located in a nice and quiet part of town. The staff are friendly and work hard to make you feel welcomed. Breakfast is nice and fills you up. Only complaint I have is that the first floor rooms I stayed in had at least one cockroach everyday. I understand that it is the tropics but if you...
