The Little Folly is a little further out form the main strip of town which is much better. The other strip is quiet touristy and we were glad to be away from there. Four adults stayed i the family room. There was one large double bed and two singles. and a large bathroom, it was great. we felt like we...

Very clean and comfy accomodation. Travelling with a family, and the kids loved the log cabins. Good food and good service for a very reasonable price. A little out of the Main Street so nice and quiet but still only a little walk from the main centre. Very handy to walk to Little Adams peak and the 9arch bridge. Ask...

This is a family run place with several rooms divided over several buildings. The people who run it are nice. We stayed two nights. The rooms are not cleaned everyday. Good simple breakfast service at the roadside restaurant. (Fresh fruits, eggs, toast) The owners should consider renewing the pillows (mould), sheets (worn out), beds etc.

We came here after seeing the good reviews this place had received, and we weren't disappointed. The linen was clean (not something to be taken for granted in Sri Lankan budget accommodation) as were the rooms. We had hot showers and excellent breakfasts whipped up by the friendly cook. But what really set this place apart from the rest is...

We were made to feel at home always, definitely would recommend it as a great place to stay in Ella. We were advised on great walks and things to do whilst we were...

Going to this cafe is like sitting in someone's home. We went for tea one afternoon (just tea, we didn't try cakes but the people at the next table highly recommended the chocolate cake) and then went back again for a light supper. Delicious vegetarian soup and a good price - plus the owners were kind to the local stray...

A well known travel book has a gushing review of this place so we were looking forward to a lovely moist cake. We tried the lemon and the chocolate cake, both were very dry. The service was friendly but not overly interested, the ambiance didn't resemble coffee shop but felt more like you're on somebody's (rather untidy) veranda. If you...

Me and my boyfriend had a really nice stay at little folly. Because it was full we had to take the really big family room. Which was clean and had a lot of space. The host was very very friendly and helping and will give you the best hiking and scooter routes. Because of him we made the best scootertrip...
