Spent two days here while cycling from Prague to Vienna. This was a delightful experience. Rooms represented the culture in this community, Good location for the wineries and close to other things one might be interested in visiting.

Visited as part of a river cruise excursion. Really impressive building and through to a cellar for tastings of Apricot brandy/ liqueur and choc coated apricots etc. great morning in such beautiful surrounds. Would love to stay there. You can buy the products at a local shop around the corner. Well worth a visit

This is,a beautifully maintained, historical property. The rooms are comfortable. They are not very large but are more than adequate. The owners are very gracious and provide excellent service. The breakfast was excellent. It is a good point from which to visit the nearby town of Durnstein which is a gem. There are no restaurant facilities for lunch or dinner.

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a bike tour group. We were charmed from the moment we arrived, with the beautiful gardens and even a bird's nest full of baby birds in the entry courtyard. Our room was quiet and clean. I loved being able to open the windows and enjoy the view of Weissenkirchen rooftops. Our... More

Great little hotel, family run and a quiet haven of peace. Delightful architecture, built around a cool central court. Spectacular guests' lounge in a cellar with a honour-system bar. Beautiful gardens and pool. Breakfast buffet was fresh, attractive and delicious.

We stayed here in July, the weather was hotter than usual so we were so pleased to find a small pool! The pool has been built to look like a pond, very unique! Our room was quite large and luckily came with a fan so we could get a breeze at night. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped with... More

Some of the rooms are great, others not so good. We had to climb 38 stairs to get to ours and the stairway was not lit. While our friends had relatively nice rooms, we had a very tiny room, poorly lit. The shower and bathroom were dangerously placed with stairs down that when wet could easily lead to an accident.... We stayed at this hotel property for several nights in June 2015. The hosts are knowledgeable, considerate, discreet "true hospitality professionals". This is a beautiful restored renaissance property set in an idyllic Danube River village. Our room was comfortable and tastefully decorated - affording us a peaceful nights sleep. The bathroom was modern with all the right touches. Breakfast was... More

Weissenkirchen is one of our favorite spots in Austria and this lovely historic building is a great place to stay. The service was excellent, breakfast very good and all was clean with new modern bath. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights in this historic location in a beautiful room with view over the Danube and we absolutely enjoyed it. The hotel is on the upper end of the prices in Weissenkirchen but offers great value. The atmosphere is historic the rooms clean abs comfortable with modern bathrooms, the service is great and the breakfast perfect. I also... More
