This meal we enjoyed here was the best of an eighteen night trip, served with humour and style. Other residents that night where clearly returning clients who intended to return again. I can understand why. The hotel looks about as French as it is possible to be. It is not some concrete monstrosity that could be found in any town... More

We stayed for 2 nights. The rooms were large, comfortable and clean. Restaurant offered good choices and meals were excellent. Proprietors did everything possible to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The Foch is in a great location within easy walking distance to all points of interest in Cassel. Plenty of room for parking outside the hotel.

We LOVE this hotel and Cassel in general! Natalie and Luc are a lovely couple and make everyone very welcome. Couldn't get a front room this time but No.6 was very nice with a beautiful bed and a bath instead of shower! Had dinner in the Hotel on one night and it was superb, especially the kidneys! Breakfast was lovely... More

Met a colleague for dinner, the entre was a mushroom based soup that I found myself using the bread to get every last drop from the bowl. The main course was a pork chop with a mustard sauce that was truly wonderful. Luc is a master of the sauce and I actually requested an extra bowl of the sauce just... More

We've tried before to book into Le Foch a couple of times but it's always been booked up well in advance, so make sure you plan your stay and get dates in their diary as early as possible. Le Foch is a small charming hotel with lots of local character, perfectly located right in the centre of Cassel, probably the... More

What a super little town! We stayed en route back to the UK in a charming room, gorgeous bed, with a view over the town square. We ate an excellent dinner and a delicious breakfast. Nathalie and Luc were very accommodating and we will hopefully return. It was nice and easy to park outside and to find the Hotel. Thank... More

We had lovely warm welcome in this cosy Logis. The food was extremely tasty. I'd go back just for the lamb shank and I'm Welsh! Every time we go to France we will be staying here. The hilltop town of Cassel is close to Ypres and other historic towns and yet only an hour from Calais

We were looking to avoid the usual motel on our first night and stumbled across Le Foch through Trip Advisor reviews. Our room overlooked the main square of Cassel which is charming. We had a pleasant evening meal (again overlooking the square sitting at the front of the restaurant). You pre order what you want for breakfast as croissants etc... More

This hotel has a great location right on the main cobbled square, where you can park for a max 2 hours between 9am-6pm. The service I received both in booking on the phone & once I'd arrived was great, with excellent English been spoken. The only downside was the rooms & en-suite are a little on the dated side, but... This well priced, friendly hotel restaurant offers great quality and value for money. We don't often stay at the same place more than once, but we have returned here on several occasions. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant alone is worth the trip.
