Absolutely perfect! Basic accommodation in a non-mobile mobile home static caravan sort of thing. Booked a couple of weeks before, and got a flash sale price, so had a 3-bedroom 2 toilet/bathroom 'serenite' level accommodation substantially cheaper than UK-based provider equivalents.

Beds surprisingly comfy, and place well-equipped, so microwave, fridge-freezer, 4 ring cooker, over, coffee machine, kettle etc. Fab showers. We had taken our own sheets and quilt covers, as per the instructions, but took our own pillows, which I would recommend as their pillows looked fairly poor and lumpy (and square, so would not fit in UK cases anyway!)! Had a terrace area complete with table, 6 chairs, 2 sun loungers and a BBQ!

Siblu are a French company and, therefore, everything provided by way of entertainment is French, which we knew before we went and I therefore would not expect to be anything any different! Some reception staff spoke English. The Teens club staff had very limited English. However, my 2 teens (13 and nearly 15) had a fabulous day doing 'stuff' with the Teens club, leaving at 10 with a packed lunch and phone equipped with Google Translate, and calling me at 4 to explain that they would be late! And both loved it and wanted to do more! Younger one also joined in with the pool party, which the older one described as a chaotic bar brawl without the alcohol!!! Evening entertainment very 'French', but husband and I were quite happy back at base with a glass of Normandy cider whilst the boys were off doing stuff with the teens club!

Site ideally placed for access to all the Normandy locations and to Bayeux. Highly recommend a ciderie nearby in Ducy Sainte Margarite as well....

Would highly recommend and, on the basis of this trip, we would do Siblu again!

Additional points to note, beyond taking your own pillows....mugs very tiny, so if you like a proper cup of tea, take a mug. Accommodation has nothing by way of usables, so take tea towels, a bottle of Cif (or equivalent) and a cloth, washing up liquid and, most importantly, toilet roll

We stayed here for 5 days a few weeks ago, the site is well maintained and the camping pitches are lovely, big and spacious. The toilet block is lovely, modern and has ample facilities however there were times during the day that these were dirty-faeces stains on the toilet bowls, toilet roll dispensers hanging off the wall and toilet roll on the floor etc,

What really held this campsite back was the lack of activities for English speakers, the staff at reception and in the shop could speak English and kudos to them because their English was great- much better than my French! The entertainment on the evening however was all in French as was a majority of the kids club- there were English speakers but it was hard for my children to understand things as a majority of children were French and everything was having to be translated to them.

Online the site is advertised as an English and French site and other Siblu camps have most things in English. The entertainment only being in French was disappointing considering we couldn’t actually enjoy it and even more of a kick in the teeth was the fact it went on past midnight most nights.

The shop sold very little other than some tins, bread and fizzy pop, the pizzas on a night were lovely and well cooked and my kids enjoyed the inflatable boat and park area.

Overall an average stay.

We spent an amazing week at Domaine de Litteau campsite! Upon arrival, we were seduced by the cleanliness of the bungalows, which were impeccable and very comfortable. The entertainment on offer was really great, offering a variety of Things to do that delighted the whole family.

The campsite is particularly well equipped for families, with an ideal playground for children and an inflatable game that made the youngest happy. Fishing enthusiasts will not be disappointed either, with two perfectly maintained ponds that add extra charm to the experience.

In addition, the staff is simply exceptional: friendly and always listening to the holidaymakers, they helped make our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend the Domaine de Litteau campsite to all families looking for a friendly and well equipped destination. We can't wait to get back!

We came here originally with our grandchildren, which it is very good for younger children but we had to pay £35 each for a swimming band. We originally went to the pool for a swim on our first day to be told we needed to book in advance. So we did for the next day. The weather had been so good so we went to the beach etc but when we got back thought it would be nice to have a swim 24 hours later which was full. I was stood at the swimming pool and asked if I could just jump into cool down but was also told it was full. As I explained to the staff at least 15 people had left so how could it be full the response was because it is. On the whole most staff are pleasant but the swimming pool staff are surly and bit very helpful I expected better service from such a brand named Siblu clearly very mistaken

Family of 4 including 2 young children visiting for 3 nights from the UK.
We arrived at 6.30 to find reception closed but no problem as our welcome pack was in the late arrivals box. We headed to our caravan but as soon as we opened the door we could smell bad mould especially in the double bedroom. The curtains had mould spours on the back of them and the smell was trying to be disguised by plug in air fresheners! Didn’t work. The bedroom smelt bad!. Also I paid extra for sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers but they were nowhere to be seen and I couldn’t ask reception as it was closed so we had to sleep on empty beds. I asked for sheets at reception the next morning and there was no apology, just “the cleaners will leave them for you”. The caravan was a little dated but ok apart from the smell.
We had pizzas from the takeaway but they were not cooked thoroughly and the base was still soggy! Overall the holiday was great and it was a good location for us to visit Utah, Omaha beach, Bayeux tapestry and Mt. Saint Michel. It’s just a shame we were let down by the accommodation. We have stayed in countless caravans throughout the UK and Europe and I can honestly say this was the worst one. We will not be returning to this site and it’s a shame because the location was ok for where we were visiting.

Warning ⚠️ Have changed pool rules from swimming trunks to Lycra trunks or Speedo’s and threw out abruptly my children as entered the pool. When spoke to reception they just said go and buy new ones, rules have changed! Do we weren’t able to use the pool facilities.
Dirty pool changing area and entrance. Rusty broken BBQ and rude reception when asked for replacement, almost turned into an argument as we requested a replacement “you send photos and we’ll bill the previous people!” Was the response. It’s rusty and falling apart it’s old not anyone’s fault, we’ve brought charcoal, can we please just have a replacement? Laughed at us and said no more go and ask a neighbour for one, then proceeded to speak, laughing amongst themselves And ignored us with zero response until we had no choice to leave.
Took my itinerary sheet to state have loaded BBQ photos but, didn’t realise I had to enter at the same time items missing…. Again greeted by rudeness and contempt. I’d had enough phoned English phone line to ask for help and told we just take your booking you need to speak to receptionist, I explained how they were being and wouldn’t give me and a manger name etc.. and can siblu at least give me a name of the manager to speak to? Nope! Go back to reception.
Disgusting customer service, extremely rude and non professional.
Bed extremely uncomfortable and sheets didn’t fit correctly and wasn’t prepared to face the rude reception again.
Great location to explore DDay beaches around half an hour to an hour depending which one you visit.

The location is great, the pool good and this was our 3rd visit to this site. Sadly it didn't live up to our memory and expectations. The site's increased size means it has lost its friendliness and the safe, family feeling we enjoyed previously. The mobile home was dirty when we arrived and in poor order (lots of items missing which I reported via inventory but had to chase up to get essential utensils). The duty person came and cleaned the home and was apologetic and very efficient. Unfortunately, the initial response from reception staff was to guide me to clean the mobile home myself using the starter cleaning pack! We still love the area and being located next to the forest is lovely. We had spent the pervious week at Domaine de Dugny at a clean, friendly and welcoming site and so Litteau compared badly to this and we were disappointed. Sadly, booking via Siblu's website is an awful experience that I just wouldn't repeat. Please fix the technology or you will lose business - I only persisted due to our previous wonderful Siblu holidays.

We raced to arrive before 7pm since the website and email confirmation said reception closed at 7pm, arriving at 6.45pm reception had closed at 6.30 and our pre-booked with no options to select from plot was allocated for us in the “out of hours” cupboard. Our pitch was next to the toilets, which were noisy and lit all night. The entertainment at the “bar” was so loud we had to go inside our motorhome to try and hear each other. The kids struggled to get to sleep since the music and MC went on well after midnight!!!! This was not a relaxing campsite and we won’t be returning and would not recommend it. Even the kids didn’t enjoy it.

The campsite is very out of the way. It is well maintained, the staff friendly. Please note, the swimming pool is not a water park. Don't be fooled by the photo. The play areas are small, given the space around them. Nothing to do when there is bad weather. The campsite is very good for children, but I do not recommend it for older teenagers because there is nothing for them apart from a city. Certainly there are parties until midnight, but many alcoholic adults.
The mobile home was great! Be careful once again: departure is at 9 a.m., so you have to think about cleaning (even inside the cupboards) otherwise your cleaning deposit of 130 euros will be cashed🤦‍♀️. I left late the evening before so as not to have to get up early for cleaning.
I would not return to this campsite, very good for retirees with their grandchildren.

Well located campsite with the Cerisy forest nearby. The setting is nice. The mobile home and its equipment are excellent. Unfortunately the proximity of the entertainment podium (30 meters) and the position of the mobile home on the edge of the main axis spoiled our short stay. First evening Sunday. Lottery evening at the podium and lights out at 12:30 a.m.
Monday morning. The staff gets busy without worrying too much about our presence. Tractor running for 20 minutes while loading... but the worst part... is the size of the green spaces which start at 12:00 p.m. nearby during our meal. Noise and smell of exhaust gases.
Employees are asked if they can stop. The manager is contacted by the employees and comes to handle the problem.
We explain to him our incomprehension of this practice. And there we believe we are dreaming. He explains to us that we are selfish and I ask him to stop taking us for imbeciles.
Pruning stops at 12:45 p.m. And at 1:00 p.m. the music starts on the podium.
Impossible to eat our meal in peace. I go to the podium. Neither entertainers nor holidaymakers present. Empty...we put music on for no one.........just for background noise...
Same scenario on Tuesday morning for the waist from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. And music at 1:00 p.m. on the podium (recorded video)... I don't understand this organization..
We listen to our stay departure on Wednesday morning. The campsite director called the owner of the mobile home to tell them that we were unhappy. His behavior is unacceptable for a manager...

Is there restaurants and things to do in the surrounding areas, without having to travel too far ?
Answer from Gwendoline L
Litteau
Hello, The Domaine of Litteau is located between the beaches of the landings . Between museums, discoveries of the Norman beaches and Norman gastronomy the choice is wide. Near CARENTAN you have the D-Day experience museum with a flight simulator (C-47). It's verry good museum. It is possible to eat in the area at the snack corner. however you will find very good restaurants in Bayeux less than 25 minutes from the domain "L'assiette Normande" or "Le petit normand". Looking forward to meeting you on our Domain. Magali (Receptionist )
