Travel with toddler to Cotignac. Wanted something right on the center. 1min walk to main street and restaurants. It is a small guest house, Bernadette the owner was very friendly and helpful. There is a public parking 1min away (sometimes full). The 'Sancy' room (high floor) it's small but very comfortable. (Maybe the size of average UK double room) with... More

Friend and I stayed here for a night after a wedding 5km away, and it was perfect :) The owner is very approachable and charming. The room was small but it had everything we needed. And in the morning we were served a very copious breakfast by the pool on the rooftop, which is next to the church tower, right... More

This is a B&B tucked away behind the church in the centre of Cotignac within a minute or two's walks from bars and restaurants. The property is accessible via about 30 fairly steep stone steps from a narrow street. Therefore someone in the party needs to be able to carry the bags. The rooms are adequate size and rustically furnished... More

My wife and I stayed with Eric and Bernadette for five nights in late September. As Eric mentioned a few times," this is our home" and we really felt as though we were taken into the home of friends and well cared for. That was the tone of our visit there. They are a friendly, outgoing and warm couple who... More

Such a charming, welcoming B&B in an enchanting Provencal village! Our hosts, Bernadette and Eric, were lovely and they took great care of us. A breakfast of fresh breads, pastries and homemade jams was just the right start before heading to the wonderful weekly market - one of my favorite French experiences. Cotignac is picturesque from every angle and historically... More

We booked this place last minute for a meeting with our european partners. Despite arriving very late, the hosts were waiting for us with hot and cold beverages, and stayed with us to answer all our questions very gracefully. The bedrooms were very confortable and breakfast by the pool was abundant and delicious. A perfect place with very fast internet... More

We spent a lovely couple of nights in La Licorne in February 2015, once again a warm welcome from the owners and a great homemade breakfast served in their newly renovated dining room, which is beautiful. La Licorne never disappoints and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Very central, close to the church where there is a free car park. Lovely comfortable room, delicious fresh bread/pastries for breakfast served in the sun next to the lovely swimming pool. Welcoming hosts. A perfect place for our weekend away, in very easy walking distance of lots of very good restaurants. A lovely quiet setting although the church bells did... More

Just returned from a view days tripping around the Var. Spent out first two nights at the lovely La Licorne guest house. Its true that the parking is a stroll away, it doesn't have a big hotel frontage, the stairs, with luggage, are a drag and our room at the top was small with only a bath which you had... More

“If stairs are a problem, make sure you request a room on the ground floor as the house and most of the rooms require climbing several flights of stairs. Lovely views from the top floor if stairs are not a problem.”

“Ahhh... Lost in Provence with my best-friend. We had 2 days planning from Canada, Winter January 2014. A surprise trip! Arrived in Paris CDG & then high speed train to Aix en Provence. Rental car. Dusk. We were supposed to head to Salernais (east). Got VERY lost. No reservations. Winter Provence. Found a farm and the kind owners phoned friends at a Guest House in the village we had just passed. Whew, doubled back ... took us a bit (detour to the abby above Cotignac as we were lost once again), but in the dark we found "La Licorne" owned by Bernadette and Eric tucked in the main village beside the church of the most beautiful village of Contingnac. 10PM in the middle of winter, the door was opened, and my friend and I were welcomed with open arms by the hosts to the most beautiful Guest House. We were soooo happy. Cotignac housed our most eclectic, beautiful, elegant Guest House. We stayed 7 days and travelled out each day via gorgeous village roads lined with grape vines and olive trees and then south by only 30 min. hit the coast hugging the Côte d'Azur east to the likes of St. Tropez, Cannes, Antibes, Nice, Monte Carlo ... and then west back to Aix, St. Remy, Les Baux ... we stayed each night back in Cotignac at our Guest House La Licorne. However, we certainly did not have enough time in the region. We will return. 6 weeks next time :)”
