Flaine was a fantastic choice for our first family ski holiday - the ski lessons from Cookie at ESI excellent, the resort has plenty of choice for all your requirements over the flaine area. Residence de Golf is a great location a short ride away (5 mins) from Flaine on the plentiful free ski shuttle buses. Do remember that the...

Our friends arranged this break as they had been to flaine before but they had not stayed in refuge du golf. On arrival reception was extremely busy but expected due to check in/out day. The staff were very helpful and gave simple enough directions to our apartment which we found with great ease!! The apartments have all that's needed for...

We arrived and were greeted by a 2 friendly receptionists. We had lost booking information but that was not a problem. We had lunch in the restaurant as we thought we would need to wait till 5 for the apartment to be ready however if was ready within an hour of our arrival and we made our way to it....

I visited Residence le Refuge du Golf in the middle of January 2015, unfortunately I haven’t got many good things to say, I wouldn’t stay there ever again for the following reasons: - Staff: The receptionist was unhelpful when we arrived, treating us like an inconvenience and not giving us clear directions, her English was not very good so this...

This is the third time we have stayed here but it will probably be our last as we want to ski somewhere new next time. We really like refuge du golf. Despite being about 2 km outside flaine centre you can ski down to the resort on a run especially for the hotel. The apartments are spacious enough and well...

I stayed with 11 friends in one chalet. Due to the spacious rooms - situated on 3 levels - I never felt crowded. All the rooms were very well equiped and had a modern feel to it. +: every room had its own bathroom facilities, TV's everywhere, BIG fridge, multiple terrasses, great view, lots of room, WiFi available, little road...

This modern apartment complex is more like a hamlet of private ski lodges and chalets. It is situated above Flaine just off the approach road which winds its way into the valley below. We stayed in a 3 bedroom property all with en-suite and a downstairs toilet. The apartment is like a small house with excellent facilities, which include large...

Very comfortable accommodation and generally well equipped. I’d be happy to stay here again, but there are a few points to bear in mind. Firstly, some things are not included: 1) I think we paid somewhere in the region of 38 euros for the week’s parking in the hotel car park. There are no readily available alternative parking options that...

“If you do decide to stay here, you really will be trying your luck. The service is appalling - but if you still intend to anyway, if you go skiing/snowboarding it is worth asking for a room/chalet close to reception and the road as it will make it a bit easier to leave in the mornings.”
