Perched at a height of 1600 metres, the Peisey-Vallandry resort embodies the convivial heart and soul of the mountains of Savoy. Close to dramatic streams and lakes and bordering a forest of larch and spruce, the two chalets of the Club Med Village, combine traditional materials with the refinement of contemporary design. The Club Med Village's location at the entrance to the Vanoise national park makes Peisey-Vallandry the ideal base for a weekly expedition to try out whitewater sports.

Club Med Peisey-Vallandry in the French Alps receives mixed reviews, with guests commending the spacious and comfortable rooms but noting that some lack adequate lighting, views, and warmth. The hotel's cleanliness is widely acclaimed, ensuring a tidy and well-maintained environment. While the atmosphere is occasionally described as vibrant with enjoyable entertainment, other guests miss the festive spirit and visible staff. The amenities, including the popular kids and teen clubs, are generally appreciated, although the value is questioned by some reviewers due to high costs and varying experiences in dining and service. Nevertheless, the hotel's location is consistently lauded for its excellent ski-in, ski-out access.

This is our 2nd Club Med and preferred to last year. The ski resort is great - lots of nice blues, if that's your level. ESF instructors much better here - thank you Hugo! He was a dream, 'read the room'very well on what WE wanted rather than dictated, often asked about energy levels, didn't push if we didn't want to but made it interesting, took time with the less able to actually teach rather than just guiding the group down a slope. Very good!

The food was excellent. Good restaurant quality, huge amounts of variety, changing every day. A small request would be a better salad bar (more of it, more variety).

Unfortunately I don't think the fitness lady enjoys her job, maybe just not enough people but she didn't seem very happy and the classes could do with some work.
We had a balcony family room - very nice, ok view, would have been tight for 4 people, lots of storage and nice shampoo, conditioner and body wash. House keeping very good.

Nice entertainment in the evening, would have liked the disco earlier, too pooped by 22.30!
Pool and saunas could do with an update- not very inviting, comfortable and would like to share sauna/steam room with husband at end of day rather than gender separate.

Inclusive wine - with option to upgrade for a cost - also very welcome. Inclusive cocktails were OK.

Overall, really lovely holiday

Wonderful, unique experience. Of course, the cost ends up not being low, but the quality of service, cuisine, ESF classes, convenience, rooms, and room cleaning are worth every price. The team of GOs are surprisingly very cheerful! I recommend it 100%. For beginners in SKi, I think Peisey's choice is great. The Resort is well located. Great slopes for beginners and it's not that crowded. I recommend filling out the information they request before arrival so that when they arrive they already have their equipment in the lockers. Saves time and queuing. Transfer offered upon purchase is also great. Punctual, very correct, both on the way there and on the way back. If you want private lessons, it would be nice to book them in advance so that you can guarantee a time with the teacher you would like to take a class with. I recommend my teachers. Professor Remi and Professor Yohan. Yohan taught my 14 year old son's group, an amazing teacher. According to my son, he has an eagle eye to correct every type of mistake you make.

We had an exceptional stay at Club Med de Peisey! This was our first winter stay at Club Med as a family, and it certainly won’t be our last.

First of all, we were delighted with the welcome we received when we arrived. Our luggage was collected immediately upon arrival and our children were taken care of and dressed from the car (shoes, coats, etc.).

Our two children had an extraordinary stay thanks to the team of the little club, and in particular Salif, Hugo, Alizée, Sarah, Mélissa, Alix, and I am certainly forgetting some! They return with memories and stars in their eyes. Happy children, happy parents!

A big congratulations also to the catering team led by Inès because we enjoyed ourselves throughout our stay from morning to evening! The buffet was very varied and the products were of high quality.

A big congratulations to Hugo for the superb atmosphere, especially during the ski return! Nothing to envy of sweet madness!

At the bar, thanks to Léna for her great cocktails. and his smile throughout the stay.

The club is ideally located in the charming village of Peisey and offers a central location for easy access to the entire Paradiski area. We also thank our ski instructors, Carol and Chloe for the lessons, as well as the discovery of the area.

Obviously, this review would not be complete without thanking Saïd, the village chief, who sincerely cares about the well-being of the GMs.

Lots of positives. A BIG downside concerning the rigidity for the release of rooms at 10 a.m. on the day of departure. If many GMs leave early in the morning, others like us leave in the afternoon (4 p.m. for us). The badges are deactivated at 10 a.m. sharp and we were harassed by phone to find out if we had vacated our 2 rooms even though we had been waiting for the porter for 30 minutes. A schedule could be planned since everyone does not leave at the same time, not all rooms can be made at the same time, the latter are indicated as being available to arrivals between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m.!!!!! However, the reception had told me 48 hours before that it was possible for €35. I agreed but the front desk didn't bother to call me back to confirm.
Ski passes are included from Sunday afternoon (day of arrival) to Saturday evening (day before departure). Those like us who arrive late on Sunday (8 p.m.) and leave on Sunday at 4 p.m. should be able to benefit from the half day on the day of departure rather than the day of arrival!
A very disappointing appointment at the spa with a beautician with little or no training for a high price.
The activity times vary depending on the display location: aquagym indicated at 11:45 a.m. at the fitness center, 11:10 a.m. at the swimming pool, and in reality 11:15 a.m.
Restaurant closes at 2 p.m.! It's too early! 3 p.m. would be preferable because private ski lessons are only available between noon and 2 p.m. during school holidays, and because there are much fewer people on the slopes at lunchtime. Top GO team, impeccable service, very decent cuisine, very beautiful rooms and well-equipped bathrooms (except mini fridge which is totally ineffective and has no adjustment). Despite everything, we will keep good memories of our stay.

Great one-week stay at the Club de Peisey. Placed at altitude, it naturally offers a breathtaking view of the valley from the balcony of the room or from anywhere in the club. Its wooden chalet style fits perfectly into the surroundings and allows you to maintain this truly warm side of the mountain spirit. Despite the crowds and the presence of children, we don't step on each other and the place remains calm. The two small lounges, particularly the one with the fireplace, are just adorable, you just want to relax there. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, with plenty of storage and the lounge area allows children to isolate themselves if necessary. A very good large bed where it is nice to relax after a GOOD hike... the nights are soft and silent. . The catering is always as good and varied with its free buffets or with more elaborate and cooked dishes and those with specialties. There's something for everyone: fast or low food, dietary or not, with or without gluten...in short, it's impossible not to find what you're looking for. In the morning you have a corner with cakes, fruit jellies, salads in addition to the breakfast buffet, for your box for the day's hike. The various Club Med activities are something that they always master just as well; with quality in addition to the others!!! Welcome at the hike arrival sites with buffet and champagne among other things). Champagne fountain aperitif with quality appetizers (foie gras, oysters, cooked appetizers, verrines, etc.). As for the heart of the club in summer, the hikes, by bike or on foot, they are just extraordinary. We'll be amazed!!! You choose your level, from green to black for the classics, during the day or 1/2 day, morning and/or afternoon. But there are other yellow, pink ones... more spiritual walks (yoga, relaxation...) or access to plants or geology. Everyone can find something there according to their interests, their level, their age, their desires... All this is very well supervised by a team of local guides, each one nicer than the other, who are there , even when you suffer from having taken a more difficult level than expected. Top professionalism!! You can also choose to do nothing by the heated, semi-open and semi-covered swimming pool, which remains calm even with children. In short, everything is there to have a great vacation, like the ones I had. Thanks to Stéphan and the entire GO and GE team.

The club med is becoming more expensive and the quality less and less present
The pastry buffet without comparison with that of two years ago
Osso bucco
Not cooked, vegetables too.
In the morning the scrambled eggs bathe in a liquid species the bacon also.
We don't even have time to eat that the table is already cleared
The village chief is nice the s Go also
We have been gold for a very long time and we had a dark room with views of the roofs in the room
The shows are nice but it was impossible for us to stay because of the intensity of the noise that was to be around 100 decibels
In summary pleasant stay for skiing but what a disappointment compared to the club of two years ago
If it continues like this I see no point in continuing with the club

Almost perfect experience at the Pesey-Vallandry med club. All the staff, as well as the village chief are welcoming and kind. For never having been to the mountains in the summer, we were captivated by the beauty of the club’s location and the Things to do outdoors (especially hiking with Jean-Pierre and Roland, and watercoloring with David!).

The meals are good for a med club but the fish are farmed and few, if any, local fruits / vegetables ... It’s a shame but there is a wide choice for cheese as well as desserts of VERY GOOD QUALITY made by pastry chefs!

Regarding the rooms, the bathrooms are rather narrow and it was difficult to get used to sleeping on a rather hard sofa in the first days. But we had a great view of the mountain and the sunset! (see photo)

Compared to shows, few are captivating, the most interesting remains that of children or ruby level choreography... The same for evenings where everything ends very quickly despite the crazy sign...

Good experience at the teen club and the vigils offered in the evening! Special thanks to Tom and Malik, GO of PassWorld, who tried to please as many teenagers as possible about the Things to do on offer despite the fact that many are very silly, unwilling or even timid! I felt included quite quickly, especially after the best of wakes: the bivouac!

I will be back with great pleasure!

We had such a great time. The stuff is always smiling and ready to help, the rooms are spacious with many storage places (not typical for other Clubs), the location is amazing for skiing in and out and the Club is right on the lift. There is food around the clock and party atmosphere constantly. We will certianly come again. The only downside is that there is a Playroom which requires change (why do we need our wallet in the Club???) and even if you want to pay, there is no place to get change money for coins... It just leaves a bad taste, especially for the kids.

Super teen team: celya. We were very well looked after, it was a great stay. The food is super good and there is a lot of choice. The evening shows are very interesting and funny, we are sure to have fun when we go there and the rooms are very comfortable and very well maintained.

Great resort for families. Not too many people on the slopes and the slopes are easy for children. Very tasty food. Friendly staff everywhere. Conveniently located both the ski room and the slope, rentals inside, lockers open with the same bracelets as the rooms. Great instructors.
