We stayed at Hotel Albatross for 7 days and nights and could not ask for better service. The staff was professional and courteous at all times. Managed to learn quite a few Italian words thanks to the friendly staff. The food was plentiful and genuine Italian food. We had a lovely sea view room with outlook to Napoli Bay. Thanks... More

The big let down with this hotel is the staff. The reception lady was incredibly rude and uninterested. The rooms are a bit run down and stuffy because air con is only turned on when reception deems it hot enough. Breakfast was not good. Cereal was stale and flies were on the bread. Wouldn't stay here again.

Came here on a tour. We were greeted by a rude screaching reception lady out of the street who rather than help 40 tired travellers just made it awkward. The wifi didn't work at all most of the time and certainly not above the second floor. Talked to reception who responded that there were too many people on the network.... More

Location - This hotel is not in the actual city of Sorrento, so you have to take a cab or train to get there. There are a few restaurants around the hotel but it's dangerous/frustrating to walk as the streets are very narrow and cars don't yield to pedestrians. Customer Service - I went with a large group, and it... More

I came here with college and as first impressions go it wasn't too bad however it appeared more of a 2/3 star hotel. We arrived quite late and it took some time to get our room key. The room itself wasn't bad from my experience as we had a balcony overlooking the sea which I was really pleased about! But... More

Some issues with service and the practical aspect of the room (broken shower, air issues) but I loved the tile and the pool is small but nice. Not bad for the value, but improvements could certainly be made. Lovely part of Italy!

Arrived very late at night to find no one on reception meaning we were left out on the road queueing to get into the hotel. The location is poor with no bars or restaurants nearby which are essential given that the hotel food couldn't even be served to dogs. Breakfast was inedible and dinner at night wasn't much better. Food... More

Sorrento is beautiful beautiful place, its such a shame such a poor hotel is in the area. The wifi doesn't work, they turn your air conditioning off every chance they get from the computer at reception meaning your room is always hot. The service is poor, it's a long walk to the train station. Do yourself a favour, spend more... More
