It was a quite small but very comfortable room, equipped with all necessary things. The most impressive was the the attitude of the hotel staff and particularly the owner of the hotel. I have never met such a caring approach. The first day when I needed to get to the Faculty of Culture at the University of Macerata, the building...

In a great location tucked inside the old town walls next to the arena and with in a few minutes walk of the main town square and most points of interest. The rooms are a little dated and bathroom pretty small but have all the amenities that are required and given the price is well worth a night or two....

Clean, comfortable, and good service. The Albergo Arena is close to the heart of the old city and many museums, historical sites, restaurants, etc. are within easy walking distance. Also a great place to stay if you are visiting the University of Macerata.

Stayed here in September for the second time - the first visit being several years ago. It was every bit as good as we remembered. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Although the décor of our room was a little dated it just added to it's charm (and it was spotlessly clean). Would definitely...

We drove into the medieval center where this hotel is located and we were so relieved that on arrival they graciously took our car and parked it somewhere free of charge. A wonderful service. And they fetched it for us when we left, also no charge. Hotel is hard to find by car but has a Very good location for...

It has everything I expect for a good service. Warm smilly people, kind service, big room, very confortable bed. Some plus: - Full breakfast with classical music - One of my tshirts falls from my window and they recovered! Thanks! =D - Only at 1 block from everything - Amazing view from the room 220! You can see the sea...

Macerata is a very nice quasi-mediaval town in which you may find perfect museums and great food. There are several vegetarian restaurants and all serve very nice local wines. Albergo (hotel) Arena is probably the best hotel in town. It is only3 minutes walk to the heart of town and located just near the old Arena Sferisterio. Rooms are xlean and...

We stayed here for three nights while attending the Sferisterio. The hotel is small, but has everything, Wifi, air conditioning, mini bar fridge in the room, reasonable breakfast, small bar and outside sitting area. It is ideally situated for walking into town and the Sferisterio, but despite its central location it is very quiet. The staff were really helpful and...

Small single room, but clean and cozy. Staff is friendly and responsive, most speak some English. Nice breakfast offering (small charge for breakfast). Great location, inside the ancient part of the city.
